“Sakuya, I’m sure there’s no reason to shout like that. Now, what’s what?”

“And I will, Sakuya. Stop opening my mail though, would you? I doubt he’s going to disown you. He doesn’t know you’re here, and if we keep it that way, things will be fine. He’s just after money for a settlement over….harassment, apparently. He just wants to ruin me, but I can deal with this.”

“He can and he will try as hard as he can to. I fail to see how you’re going to get out of this, but you’re the adult.” He let out an impatient huff, folding his arms.

“Just be careful.” That sounded a bit more ominous than it was supposed to.

“...” He flexed his fingers by his sides for a moment, staring at the floor, then back to the man. This wasn’t a state many people got to see him in.

“...Alright. But you better fix this, or so help me. I will not have my father disown me over your stupid actions.”

“It is my business! He’ll force me to come back home!” He seemed a bit more distressed now than angry, agitated and worried. He reached up and pulled at his hair for a moment, then at his coat.

“This… Wh-What did you say to him? Why is he angry?”

“Sakuya!” His voice was actually raised for once, but only to get his attention. He then tried to grab the boy’s shoulders firmly, yet gently.

“No one is going to force you to do anything you don’t want to. I promise I’m not going to let anything happen to you.”

He shrugged the hands off his arms, backing away nervously. “I have to do what he says. I’m a le bel.”

That was something he hadn’t uttered since he entered his place; it seemed his attitude had diminished in the time he had spent with Kazuaki.

“I can’t turn my back on him but for so long. Did you think I would stay here forever?” He let out a laugh that seemed more pitiful than anything.

“Did you know its against federal law to open mail not sent to you?” Kazuaki tried saying as he caught the letter, opening it and scanning over it briefly.

“…Don’t worry, Sakuya, it’s fine,” he fibbed. He’d been in worse situations, he supposed. He seemed awful calm about this.

“That doesn’t answer my question!” He stomped his foot, like an impatient child. “Why?! Why would my father go after you?! He doesn’t even know I’m staying here!”

“This!” He was waving a torn envelope around in his hand, one that most definitely did not belong to him and he had no business opening, but had anyway.

He proceeded to throw it at the man, hands now angrily on his hips expecting an answer. “Why are you being sued by my father no less?!”
