In fact, theyāre flirting with each other. Her best friend Megan is also not bothered by the attention heās giving her. Neither see him as a real threat to her nor do they feel like heās stalking her the TWO times total that theyāve talked.Ā Rape is about power above all. What power does Daniel have over Grace? None. How far has his sex appeal and behavior gotten him with Grace? No where. The power dynamics are totally inverted in this relationship. I really donāt see how she feels threatened, coerced or forced into doing anything. Itās quite the opposite, she is using his desire to go out with her to get something she wants.Ā
