The No Bullshit Manifesto
Quit the excuses and lies. Tell it like it is.
Don’t criticize unless you have a suggestion for a better solution.
Stop whining. Do something about it. Or shut up.
If you can’t handle the truth, don’t ask.
You’re entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts.
When you fuck up: Acknowledge. Adjust. And carry on.
Avoid assholes, fanatics, and narcissists. They never listen.
Eliminate buzzwords and hype. Just straight talk.
Shut up and listen. But stand up and speak up when needed.
Don't be an asshole. Treat everyone with respect.

Why a new manifesto in 2018?
Back in 2012 I was fed up with all the bullshit you’re faced with on a daily basis. Especially online, but anywhere really. So together with some friends we came up with the 28 statements in the original Less Bullshit Manifesto.
Ever since, I’ve had the urge to revisit the manifesto and distill it to ten or so statements. In part to make it more clean, but also to remove some of the redundancy from the original manifesto. And let’s be honest - there’s certainly no less bullshit since 2012, so it’s as relevant as ever.
So now, I’ve spent the past couple of years (really!) letting it simmer in an attempt to boil it down to the most essential values. And with the release of The No Bullshit Manifesto, I think it’s ten great statements that if adopted, would lead to less bullshit in all our lives.
Again, I’d like to thank all my friends who pitched in - it wouldn’t have been as good without your input, so thank you!
Dear reader - if you like it, please adopt it as you see fit and feel free to share it. Imagine if we actually could reduce some of the bullshit out there, how fantastic that would be! Cheers, G. // The Hotdogjudge

The Less Bullshit Manifesto
This is a manifesto to minimize bullshit.
No bitchin' about something you haven't tried to fix.
Don't criticize unless you have a suggestion for a better solution.
Stop whining. Someone is always worse off than you.
If you can't handle the truth, don't ask.
Life is not fair. Harden the fuck up.
The future is complicated. Deal with it.
You don't know it all. Shut up and listen.
Don't say you're sorry, when you're not.
Don't whine about the weather. If you don't like it, move.
Yes you do have time. If you prioritize.
Never mistake a vocal minority for a silent majority.
No one is in charge of your happiness and life, but you. Take responsibility.
Don't take yourself too seriously. No one else does.
Envy is a waste of time. It's not what you have. It's what you do.
Don't believe the hype. Bullshit is what makes the grass greener on the other side.
Good things rarely come to those who wait. Good things come to those who work their asses off and never give up.
Striving for 'perfect' is boring and a waste of time. Accept 'good enough' and move on. (1)
Fuck pride. Pride only hurts. It never helps.
If you can't walk the walk, don't talk the talk.
Perspective can't be taught. It must be experienced.
Do what you need to do to get the shit done. Do. Or do not. There is no try.
Avoid any task for prestige. If the task didn’t suck, it wouldn’t have to be prestigious.
Quit imposing your own need for perfection onto others. Respect them for not giving up, despite bullies like yourself.
If you want to change something, start by getting off your own ass.
Panic never helped anyone. Chill out and settle your priorities. Then execute, one by one.
Stop being so damn nice. Say what you mean and mean what you say.
When you fuck up, acknowledge, adjust, and carry on. Wiser.
In the end, it all works out. If it hasn't worked out yet, it's not the end.
Think of this manifesto, the next time you're about to bitch about something irrelevant to anyone else except yourself. Instead, focus your attention on important matters like doing something that really has an impact on this planet: charitywater.org
You're welcome.
