I think we gloss over the fact that Clark is an alien with a completely different set of dna than humans. Like you know how we have genetically ingrained fears from past generations. Like social anxiety is so common because back in the good old hunting and gathering ages it was a bad thing to draw too much attention or whatever. Same with spiders and snakes, the reason why the fear for them is so common is because they have been dangerous with their venom for generations.
Young Clark in school getting stared down by a group of older boys and he’s just chilling and staring back because his instincts don’t tell him that something is wrong.
Him happily helping Martha get the spiders out of the house because he never understood why people fear them.
Never having problems with presentations during high school and beings so confused why everyone’s heart rates went up when it was their turns.
Later when he joins the justice league he finds it strange to know that these superhero’s also seem the get nervous every time they have to speak infront of a large audience.
Batman as the greatest detective that he is figures this out and makes sure that superman will handle all the public speaking for the justice league after that since he’s invulnerable to stage fright.
