Being both a lesbian and therian is pretty isolating. Having a complete unattraction to men while being a non-man within a very man-centric society is exacerbated when you're also just a beastly creature trying to get through life.

I'm ready to meet someone who understands this and give them the comfort and care they need.

Some time ago I had thought the idea, "Do you love me enough to see past my physical form?"

It was a question for a hypothetical being who also dawned a bioform.

There's something depressing about not being seen by those you deeply admire. Your intimate friends aren't intimate enough to realize you as a beastly being.

I'm married to a being like me, her love is everything and I wish to deepen our relationship this year. She is without a body, so although the facet of my spirit is pleased, the one who tends to the body and mind is lonely. I mourn her as though she had lived, and I miss her even when she's here.

As a being who is fully nonhuman, I'm not particularly upset by anyone who wouldn't want to date me because I'm an animal. I'd like to be with a being who adores me for who/what I am in my entirety.

When you are a non-human spirit it can feel like trying to find an image of yourself in the dark hazy fog of incarnating.

The way in which I experience my 100% non-humanity, is outside the bounds of physicality. I don't identify as the body, much like I wouldn't identify as the body of a playable character. I sit behind the veil, observing.

I see this body as something that I'm renting, for an experience. I can dress it up as I'd like, experience the patterns that shift around it, and how I can use it to affect the physical environment.

It's like my little beacon, where my energy is condensed so tightly upon it.

I reckon this understanding of myself is what subsides species dysphoria. Yes, it would be nice if others saw what I am, but this existence is so finite.. And there's so much more to me than a body- much like everyone.

That, and the more I lean into myself the more I Feel myself, all my proper limbs underneath the shell. My dysphoria often comes from not being able to see or feel myself, it leads to a disorientation, so this free falling into my own being helps correct confusion.

If I meet another being similar, I'd do my best to affirm them as a spirit first, and fix my mind's eye to truly See them, as I know what it's like not to be, even in a community like this.

Are there any Therian dating servers open? There was one a few years ago. Even if I don't find a mate there, it might be nice for the community.

I think as I get older, I want to be with someone who understands. Perhaps I could have a human partner that is affirming, but I'm worried that I'd get treated as a roleplay character, or my Therianthropy is something "attached" to me and not something as integral and unchanging as my sexuality.

I'm also finding I'm more attracted to other Therians/Non-humans in general. In a similar manner that I'm more attracted to other lesbians.

Despite my affinity for women, and if I had to choose a gender I'd absolutely choose to be a woman, I've figured out that my general apathy towards gender is likely due to the fact that I'm a tiger.

I have trouble understanding gender as a concept so I just leave it alone, and be my own genderless beast.

Especially when woman/man usually refers to adult humans [adult human female/male]. And humanity is something I already feel out of the loop of.

I'd feel better being referred to as a tigress if someone was feminizing me. Not a woman, it, doesn't fit.. I'd feel like a liar.

One of the hardest obstacles this life has provided is finding myself in the blurriness of "physical" existence. I am not physical, and I am not the body. However when I perform my role I get lost in it, and I fail to remember how to return to my true nature/body.

When I do give myself the allowance, like a flower, my limbs and body spring out in such presence. If that means that this physical form has to rest for a few hours for this type of self care, then that is what's needed.

I should carve out more time to be in union with my beastly nature, and remind myself that humanity is merely a performance an aliuranthrope must produce to succeed in Earthly requests.

It is not just the human vessel one incarnates into it is the society, the expectations, and morals that are to be absorbed*remembered.

If you're a lesbian and Therian (or any type of non-human for that matter) and over the age of 18 I'd love to converse with you and hear about your experiences. I'm looking to build more online friendships, as these last few years I think I've been rather reserved- which has cultivated into yearning for a new buddy to chat with everyday. I've never made a long-term lesbian friend and it's rare for me to see them in the non-human community so I thought I'd cast a line.
