I think part of getting better is complete ego death. Like youâre not above setting a timer for 5 minutes and focusing on a task. Youâre not above doing a very simple 3 minute workout to start. Youâre not above reading for 10 minutes a day when you first get out of your reading slump, even if you used to read for hours. Youâre not above starting slow and then building up to where you want to be/where you once were. What you are above is total inertia. Doing something really is better than doing nothing. Radically accept where you are, radically accept your limits, and go from there. Donât let your ego get in the way.

It starts at Bahrain. Youâre in the paddock for the first time this season, wearing cherry lip gloss and a backless sundress, smiling sweetly at the mechanics whoâve known you since you were twelve. Everyone pretends not to notice the way Liam Lawson looks at you.
Even you. Especially you.
You havenât seen him since China. Since the Red Bull fucked him.
Gave his seat to someone else. Played him like a pawn and smiled through the damage.
Your father had said, âItâs a business decision.â
Liam had said nothing. Until tonight. Until he corners you in the back corridor of the Red Bull motorhome while everyoneâs celebrating Danielâs podium and hisses, âYou gonna smile pretty for Daddy on the pit wall again, or are you gonna let me ruin you first?â
You freeze. And then you smile. Because youâve been waiting for this.
The sex is not gentle. Liam drags you into a dark utility room and locks the door behind him. He kisses you like heâs mad about it. Bites your lip until you moan. Lifts your dress and groans when he finds nothing underneath.
âFucking knew you were a brat.â
âOnly for you.â
âDonât say that,â he growls, pressing you against the wall. âDonât act like this isnât a game.â
You smirk. âThen play me.â
His hand goes straight between your legs.
Youâre soaked.
âJesus Christ,â he mutters. âDidnât even touch you yet.â
âYou already fucked me,â you whisper. âThe second they announced your name wasnât on the seat. I got wet for you right then.â
Liam groans and drops to his knees. He eats you out like youâre a grudge. Messy. Loud. Wet. Youâre moaning before his tongue even finds your clit.
âBet Daddy doesnât know how filthy you are,â Liam murmurs, licking a stripe up your cunt. âDoes he think youâre a good girl?â
You whimper.
âAnswer me.â
âYes,â you breathe. âHe has no idea.â
Liam spits on your pussy and licks it back up. âHe will.â
You come in seconds. Then again, when he slips two fingers in and curls them like heâs done this before. Like he knows you.
Youâre shaking when he stands up. âDonât get soft now,â he grins, undoing his belt. âWeâre just getting started.â
He fucks you hard against the wall, one hand around your throat, the other gripping your thigh. He bites your shoulder when you come again, moaning, "that's right, give it to me- give me what Red Bull wouldnât.â
You go silent. It hits different when he says it like that. He fucks you harder. âBet they told you to stay away from me,â Liam pants. âBet Daddy said I wasnât a safe bet.â
You nod helplessly. âSaid youâd ruin me.â
Liam grins and kisses your throat. âGood. Thatâs the plan.â
He comes inside you. Deep. Brutal. Growling your name like itâs vengeance. You gasp when he pulls out and fingers the cum back inside. He catches a drop sliding down your thigh and smears it on your stomach, just to be a dick.
Then he helps you sit up. Brushes the hair from your face. Kisses your cheek, gentle now. âYou okay?â
You nod.
He kisses you again. âGood girl.â
The next morning youâre walking to the garage with sunglasses on and shaky knees when Christian pulls you aside and mutters, âYou havenât seen Liam, have you? I want him away from the press.â
You stare him dead in the face. âAbsolutely not, Daddy.â
Then you walk into hospitality and watch Liam from across the room. He winks. You grin. Because youâre not done. And neither is he.
I don't hate Scott, I just prefer Stiles's character over his because of the movie , the movie felt like really horribly written fanfiction by a misunderstood Scott fan.
1. In the movie, Scott's character development is thrown in the drain thanks to I'm guessing the bad writing ? It feels like he's just trying too hard to live out his high school glories.
2. Scott didn't lose anyone significant in his life aside from Allison and it made no sense to say Scott is still in love with Allison and to make them get together after like 15 years.
3. Scott knows damn well the trauma that Kate inflicted on Derek by bringing his whole family down. Then why would he just let Derek sacrifice himself knowing that he finally found a family and that Eli will lose his family, it makes no sense for his character
Rather than blaming Scott for being a shitty friend/ Alpha, it's time we blame the terrible writing .
Scott's character had a lot more depth in the TV show than in the movie and the movie managed to undo all his growth within that time frame.
Just because Scott moved on, doesn't mean he forgot about Allison.
Do you think that Derek would no longer care about Paige, if somehow she suddenly came back to life and he got another chance to see her?
That if Laura came back to life, he'd just go... 'well it's been years, and I moved past loving her'
Of course not, grief may soften, but it remains, and when that person you're grieving returns, that previous pain looms even stronger, and makes you want to do anything to keep from losing them again.
Scott did not chose to let Derek die.
Derek chose to let Derek die;, because he wanted to save everyone, including his son, and stop the nogitsune. Derek making this choice was a sign of his growth as a character, growing away from being someone who was driven, and controlled by his trauma(from s1), to someone who can selflessly make the choice to save others.
Scott was not even remotely being a shitty friend or shitty alpha in any way or how.
Scott's growth is still there, the movie just finally let him deal with his grief and sense of loss over Allison.
If there's one thing the series did wrong, it's that for far too long the show didn't give nearly enough focus on Scott's trauma, and Scott's pain, something that was desperately needed.
I wish the show had focused more on Scott, instead of just that one aspect of him in regards to Allison, but then again, it is just a movie.
