Harley rarely spent time in the library, he much preferred to do his work in the comfort of his own space. However, the coffee shop within the library was the only one that was open right now and he was desperate. As he waited for his all black coffee he turned to the girl who he assumed was speaking towards him. “Are you bloody insane? It’s only November.” his thick British accent cut the silence. “You’re one of those people aren’t you?”  he asked. 

Noelle put down her phone and looked at the boy “No?” She questioned “Yeah  and its not like its September” She said empathizing September, while tapping her pencil she looked at him confused, “One what people?” She asked.

Val was sketching some designs for her class tomorrow, switching her colored pencils out and trying to really figure out her next move for the design. Looking up she was taken by surprise. “Like a real.. tree?” she asked curiously. Letting the idea mull over in her mind. “Will people think we’re nuts? It’s not even thanksgiving yet.” The more she thought about it, the more she figured maybe getting out would be good for her design and would offer inspiration. “You know what.. I don’t care. I’m in.” she smiled. 

“Yeah if they have them or a fake tree would work too” Noelle said with a nod putting leaning her head in her hands. “ No? Lots of people start decorating after thanksgiving right?” She questioned, her family always decorated in November she was a little early but not that much. “Yes okay lets go!” Noelle beamed.

It wasn’t like he’d really been doing any work anyway, so when Noelle began talking his eyes went straight to her face. “Uhh, anything to procrastinate, I guess. Christmas tree, though? I’m still salty Halloween came and went like it did.” Raising a brow, he looked down at his laptop and closed it. “Do they even sell trees around this time? And we’re going to have to wear Santa hats.”

“ Yeah we could go get half off halloween candy first if you wanted” She said with a smile. “Yeah I think so, I know target had the artificial trees” She said with a shrug. “Santa hats? I’m so down” She said excitedly with a smile.

Noelle looked up and bit her lip. “Well yeah maybe I mean its after Halloween” She rambled and bit her lip,  “Yeah I know but Thanksgiving is like a B-list holiday.” She stated. “Its like your going to a Beyonce and Ariana Grande concert I mean obviously you’d be excited for the Ariana Grande concert first, but you know the Beyonce concert is going to so much better so obviously your going to plan that night more then Ariana’s concert.” She said taking a breath

Noelle was bored,and was supposed to be studying for a test but she couldn’t focus, instead of studying she found her self on pinterest looking at Christmas ideas getting herself in a festive mood she looked up and asked? “Wanna go get a Christmas tree?”

Teddy moved his cape with a flourish as he cut through the crowded bar of costumed partiers. He was already drunk from the last two stops on the crawl but was in no mood to stop drinking. Pulling his card & I.D from his metallic utility belt, Teddy slammed both on the bar to get the bartenders attention. “Open me a tab! Put it under Batman & get me… four tequila shots and a long island. Lime too! And and and…” Teddy looked at the person beside him for a confused second before throwing his arm over their shoulder with an enthusiastic smile. “And whatever they ask for! This is the best person in the fucking world, you hear me? Anything they ask for– on my tab!” He shouted the slurred demand over the music as the bartender took over with his card & turned to the other. “Don’t you, like, just…..love Halloween? I fucking love Halloween.”

Noelle has to be coerced to go the bar crawl it really wasn’t her thing but her friends made her and she figured she could be the one to send people in the right direction when it was time to go. Making her way over to the bar to get some soda, she stood politely waiting for the bartenders attention. Until she felt an arm around her shoulder. “Woah .. oh hey Teddy having a good time?” She said with a grin noticing the boy was clearly drunk. “Uh oh just a Diet Coke please” she said politely to the bartender. She nodded and turned her attention back at teddy “yeah Halloween’s great I mean what can be better then costumes and candy?” She said with a smile
