(and some small changes to the blog) My blog has been very unorganized, so I laid out three options:

I chose the tag system. I've gone through every post and added relevant tags, and will do so for all future posts(excluding this one):

random thing I learned about sevenths:

so 1/7 repeats 6 digits: 1, 4, 2, 8, 5 & 7. So, 1/7 is 0.142857142857142857142857142857142857142857... and so on.

So pick a random number in there to start from. Congratulations! You have a different seventh, because every seventh has exactly six repeating digits.

You picked a 1 to start with? That's just 1/7, or 0.142857...

You picked a 2? That's 2/7, or 0.285714...

You picked a 4? That's 3/7, or 0.428571...

You picked a 5? That's 4/7. or 0.571428...

You picked a 7? That's 5/7, or 0.714285...

Yout picked an 8? That's 6/7, or 0.857142...

So, take off the first digit of 1/7, and you end up with 3/7. Take off another and you have 2/7. Another and you're at 6/7, another for 4/7, and another for 5/7. One more digit and you're back to 1/7. So if you know the six repeating digits in any seventh, you can very easily find the values for all other sevenths. Except 7/7, which is just 1.0.

I don't know if I've been living under a rock and this is actually just common knowledge, but I found it interesting.

So I didn't think I'd be reblogging a math post with something about Genshin Impact, but here we are.

In the most recent version of Genshin (Luna III), certain characters got a 'Hexerei' buff.

Among these characters is Sucrose. Her buff is as follows:

Using her skill buffs party members' damage by 5.71428%

I immediately noticed the pattern of 7ths. Most genshin statistics don't even show you more than 2 digits past the decimal anyway. 5.71428% is 4/7 of 10%.

2. Using her burst buffs party members' damage by 7.14285%

This is 5/7 of 10%.

3. If she's C6, having her burst absorb an element causes other Hexerei characters' elemental damage(for the element absorbed) to increase by 8.57142%

This follows the trend of ascending 7ths. Specifically, the 6th one.

This is a weird easter egg of math in Genshin of all things.

For some reason, Sucrose has a lot to do with the number 7. Her Hexerei quest was about the 7th iteration of an experiment. And even present in version 1.0 was Sucrose's C4, which decreases Sucrose's Burst CD by up to 7 seconds after she performs 7 normal attacks.

Why is Sucrose to 7 as Kujou Sara is to 5? No idea.

Just installed Librewolf & Mullvad today. Don't have much experience with either so I can't fully recommend anything, but they're both forks of Firefox, so it's not too different. Both have better privacy than firefox, and Mullvad has similarities to Tor, making it a top choice for privacy. That said, I couldn't get Mullvad to work on Tumblr, thus why I installed Librewolf as well. Being forks of firefox, the extensions I use(privacy badger, noscript & ublock origin) are all compatible.

Okay, so it's called breakfast because you break your fast, right? It makes sense that it would be the first meal of the day, assuming you sleep for 8 hours, because this would be the longest period without eating per 24 hour cycle.

However, if you start your day with a meal, then have lunch 8 hours later & have dinner 8 hours later before sleeping for 8 hours, no meal breaks your fast any more than the last. This does, however, assume that meals take 0 time.

If, instead, you start dinner 8 hours after lunch, then sleep for less than 8 hours and have breakfast immediately after waking up, this would mean that dinner is the meal that breaks your fast the most.

This would mean it is possible for your dinner to be your breakfast, while still having 3 meals a day.
