RESOURCES ⤑ TFA SCREENCAPS
as promised, here are all 10k+ caps i’ve made off the leaked blu-ray copy of SW: TFA (720p). These are to be used for your iconing/graphic needs. I screencapped everything except for the end credits so any weapons or ships or scenery that was in the movie will likely be in this pack.
Some things to note:
in my haste, i forgot to delete blank caps (ie caps that the program took when the video was on pause, so basically screencaps of nothing!). There are quite a few & they occur in two noticeably large chunks. The first is when Finn first introduced himself to Rey after they escaped the tie-fighters on Jakku. The second is when he chased after the first order freighter as it took Rey back to Starkiller Base. My apologies! You can just delete them (they won’t be able to open as an image, looks like a corrupted file) because you won’t be missing anything.
There are moments/scenes where the video sort of??? idk didnt play well or my computer sort of glitched so the caps turned out ugly (ie pixelated or not properly loaded). I caught maybe 3 of them (fn-2187 on the finalizer, rey’s afternoon @ jakku after scavenging and right before the tie fighters show up at maz’s castle). if you catch anymore just tell me! i’ll recap those scenes and put them in a separate folder sometime soon.
I think those are the only things you need to know but feel free to HMU if i missed anything. I hope these are useful esp for those who can’t get the source video! Lastly, I wanna apologise for how big the pack is (7GBs ish), I’d be more than willing to split it if you’d rather download in parts so just tell me if you need me to do it! IN ANY CASE! ENJOY!!! HAVE FUN!!!

ahh thank you!! this was very nice
so london was, uh--- well. i’m back on the train home to scotland now. i kind of started crying this morning, i called my mum in a panic, it was bad. i guess i kind of just forgot how busy and stressful london can be, and i desperately need to be back home in edinburgh. i’m kind of a mess of guilt and distress and unhappiness about letting myself leave like this, but what can you do? in any case, i have some free time on the train, so -- if anyone wants to chat, hit me up.
