Okay but can we talk about how Max and Lucas are interracial in a pretty conservative small town and Max first kissed him in PUBLIC, even after having personal experience with the consequences? Go girl!

I think about them a lot because after all season with Billy and us knowing him to be abusive, HER kissing HIM is her fully informed saying: "worth it".

And it's the best thing she ever did.

You were right on your post about Caleb for the TIME interview. For some reason, people expect Caleb to be the life of the party and “bring everyone together” when that is not his job or purpose. He seems like a confident person that isn’t shy, but seems introverted (not trying to assume obviously).

I hate how people assumed he was sad, angry, mad or even worse (like rude or that he didn’t wanna be there). Some even said he brought the mood down. People forget that they’re not kids anymore and it sucks that it’s always worse for Caleb (I mean… we know why).

I know in past interviews when they were all kids, Caleb did more of the talking (as in he just helped everyone get a chance to speak on the mic) and maybe that's cuz he's one of the oldest kids age wise outta them but that doesn't mean he was "more talkative". He just knew Millie and them were excited to do interviews just like him and wanted to talk about s1/2/3 in group stuff

It's so exhausting cuz Caleb has been going through it since he was 13 all bc of ST Fandom refusing to separate actor and character they played. I was seeing jokes about how Caleb has the smallest Instagram following out of them, I saw a video of younger Caleb talking about how it makes him sad folks don't like dark skinned people like him, and he still has anti Lucas fans over s1 writing Lucas to be the most logical of the Party. Now he can't just chill and be quiet.

Damned if he do, damned if he don't. He did an interview with just Priah where he was more energetic, engaged, and hilarious cracking jokes. I don't think people realize actors are on set for hours at a time. Whether it's a show, movie, or a slew of promo and interviews for the final season. So many factors could have been the reason Caleb was reserved that dayn but it really ain't our business tbfr. It's not like he was mute. He did say his piece when he felt like speaking sheesh.

Honestly that's one of the reasons I'm happy ST is ending cuz high key the Fandom don't deserve Caleb or his portrayal of Lucas. I can't wait to see Caleb in other projects where the fans aren't nitpicky. He was amazing in Book of Clarence, Concrete Cowboy, and Shooting Stars. Can't wait to see him in that new cartoon film Goat.
