Struggling to stand as he leaned on the inside of the ship, he shook his head. Taking a few moments to catch his breath before managing out a response. "I...I dunno, I didn't get a good look, it was-" A hiss as he tried to stand up straight, his hand clutching at his side, blood beginning to drip to the floor "It was very dark, but I'd like to think I was the winner in that little engagement." Finally managing to look at the smaller paladin, Takashi attempted a weak smile.

"Please tell me you have a way out of here, something still tells me that I only managed to wound it." Grey hues scanned behind the other, looking to the ceiling and other shadows of the galran ship, based on the attack he managed to survive, it had to be an ambush predator, sticking to the shadows. Something that was unfortunately common on these ships. Swearing at himself for fleeing rather then finishing it off (if he could have at least), it might have made their escape a lot easier, even if it meant the black paladin had a few more scars to add to his sadly growing collection.
