Friday survey: How many books do you have? And do you still have a space for them? 😄📚
I think women and flowers are one of the most beautiful combinations
His eyes… they carry warmth the camera could never hold.
it’s not just how they look, it’s how they feel like comfort disguised as a glance.
His smile, it’s something rare. it doesn’t just appear, it happens
like sunlight spilling through the clouds after days of rain.
and somehow, it finds me every time i forget how to breathe.
His cheeks, soft and kind, i imagine they’d feel like home if i ever touched them.
his lips they look like the kind of silence
you wouldn’t mind getting lost in.
His face, ethereal a constellation shaped by gentle hands.
there’s something about him that feels not from here,
like he belongs to a dream that accidentally slipped into reality.
His presence calms me.
it’s like he knows the chaos i carry
and chooses to stay anyway, quietly.
He's not just someone i love, he’s a feeling
the kind that lingers long after everything else fades.
and maybe he’s not real,
Maybe he’s just the universe reminding me
that beauty can exist,
even if it was never meant to stay.
Mary Elizabeth Braddon, The Doctor's Wife (1864)
did you ever even try to see things from my point of view?
Just because I always looked after myself, doesn’t mean I never wanted to be taken care of
