Re: Lyria’s ‘Counter-Callout’
I wasn’t gonna make another post but I am just flat out bothered by some of the bullshit she is trying to serve people so I want to address them.
1) The whole lot of code screencaps she posted. Just look at them. If you have any idea about code you will know that the things she pointed out are BASIC things that are in EVERY THEME code you will find. It doesn’t matter what you call them, how you arrange them, they will always bear similarities. If no theme had them… well. Try to imagine a theme without a post box, without a description, without links— you get the gist. Those things are ESSENTIAL and the fact she points those out as apparent ‘theft’ only proves what I already know: Lyria doesn’t know as much about coding as she claims she does. Because if she did, she wouldn’t be making a fool of herself with these accusations.
Also, to repeat what I said in my previous callout post, this was never just about copying code but stealing my whole theme aesthetic with it.
1b) I never gave full permission to heavily edit my code like this. But I must admit, at some point I realized I will probably not get her to stop. So I thought if I could at least get her to add a credit, people would know where the code came from. That never meant she could just keep using it though ( and I told her this, this was only for the current blog she had the time ), and after this incident she kept on reusing and altering the code over and over again and removing the credit again so… I don’t know what she’s trying to achieve with her claims here other than trying to save her own ass, to put it bluntly.
2) Regarding the URLs… that really was not my doing, and I said it before. Do you want a list of all my sideblogs? I don’t have anything to hide. Every URL I save, I end up using. I don’t have any time to deal with kindergarten shit like this.
3) Anon hate… No, just no. I’m not the only person living in Germany. ( What a shocker, gasp ) There is no proof for this. And people who know me know how direct I am, if something bothers me I will say it to them directly and not hide behind a mask.
4) Regarding the personal issues at the very beginning of the post… I don’t understand what she is trying to achieve by pulling up a personal problem from fucking 2017 ( yes, that long, you can see it on the ‘evidence’ if you don’t believe me ) that is in no way related to what my initial post was about, which was the theft. If she cannot let go of a personal problem that happened literally years ago, she should maybe seek help. Therapists really do help, can confirm 100%. Mine helped me back when Lyria was pulling the exact same shit she is now and trying to push all the blame on me. But uh, I’m not making a big deal out of it because what is in the past stays there. On top, these kinds of things don’t belong on tumblr in my opinion. And before you say anything about me just disregarding this stuff or having no heart or what have you — I mentioned in my previous post regarding the theft that everything I said seemed to fall on deaf ears and she was either playing innocent or dumb. Well, the same thing pretty much happened when I tried to get the conflict resolved, so… It’s not on my end where private communication has failed.
