Art Spotlight - “Freeze” Available
As an artist, I am a perfectionist. Every piece is very carefully measured and cut by hand with a razor blade which can be incredibly stressful at times.. this piece, in particular, was the most demanding. Some layers would take up to 2 hours to measure and cut out.. after finishing a layer I stretched my back out in relief only to find out that I made a slight mistake about 10 minutes in and have to throw it away completely. I wasted many hours on this sculpture but I learned to get over the mistakes quickly and keep going. The longer I dwell on mistakes the more negative my mindset becomes. I learn so much from creating each sculpture but this one especially taught me that there will always be mistakes… throw it out and get over it… you’ll be rewarded at the end with something great.

Another nice piece I discovered online. Wanted to share it!

Honestly, Bassnectar inspires so much of my work I had to make another shoutout
one of my true inspirations. Solomon Guggenheim
Apeiron Hotel in Dubai
Honestly, I feel like this may not be real. If it is, I’d be afraid to stay on the top floor. But I might jump ou of it...
Just something cool I found online.
If anyone knows a blog with these type of post/ photos please let me know so I can follow.
“Illuminate” (17x17x2in.) LED
An older piece from back in 2016 using illustration board with corrugated plastic
spacers. Once again, when I look back I can really see how Noize On The Wall has grown.
Art Spotlight - "Whiplash" (20x20x2.5 spray paint on wood) - Available
This is one of the practice pieces I've been working on in preparation to remake "Gravity" out of this same wood. I used a CNC machine to cut the sheet of plywood (this is my first sculpture not cut by hand). Although it saved me a lot of time in the cutting process there was still a ton of work to be done to get that clean look that I seek. I'm not much of a woodworker so I'm stoked to be picking up new skills with every piece I make out of these new materials. Big things in the works! 👽

“Sound Wave”
I made this last year with 255 triangles I cut from all my scraps.
I honestly wish this was a little slower but I still like it,
An art show I was in called RAW back on Nov 16 in Columbus. I loved the brick exposure
I have to admit that the images in the background are pretty cool.
