hi! i literally just saw your post about gumshoe's older sister role-model and i immediately wanted to ask if you had any headcanons about angel starr? since it is canon(?) that they've known each other long before they worked together, and i couldn't help but think of her taking that spot

Okay first, I'm really hype because this is my first ask. Second, that's so valid and I'm glad someone agrees with me that Angel and Gumshoe would be great friends. They've known each other since they were teenagers and I love to think that they get along. She was the only one to get Gumshoe to open up about "the incident" so I feel like that was something that was a huge foundation for their friendship. Later when she got fired, I like to imagine Gumshoe visiting her to comfort her (and maybe make sure she doesn't get too aggressive.) Now in their adult years, they probably spend whatever time they can together just to wind down and share her boxed lunches.
