what do you love / find compelling about chuuaku?

Oh man! It'd be much quicker to list what I DON'T like about chuuaku (cue: nothing). I like the ship a lot, and even though I don't talk about it here as much as I do for ss/kk, I'm thinking about them all the time.

I've talked about it before but it forever bears repeating: I love how realistic, and especially human, the ship feels. For how I see it, it's very down to earth, while also keeping being very compelling. It's not about life or death, it's not about perfectly complimentary designs and color schemes, it's not about trying to kill each other, it's not about extraordinary height differences, it's not about dying for each other and then coming back to life; it's realistic. It's about meeting on the work place and not really liking each other but then changing your mind when you get to know the other person better. It's about not understanding the other because you can not read their mind, and still make an effort to meet them halfway. It's about being different– not perfect opposites, not studied foils, not black and white, not universal soulmates, just different. It's about two people who love each other and try to make it work even though they're both very flawed and very human. It's about choosing each other rather than be meant to be together. I find great appeal in the mundanity of it all.

Remarried empress Rashta modern au

In this au Rashta is twenty-years old and married sovieshu at eighteen, she divorced him after taking over his company. She remembers her past life, she was just born in a different era with the same people. When she processed this she wanted revenge against ergy and sovieshu. She hired a babysitter to help take care of Ian and Glorym while she's working.

Rashta wants to live happily with her children no matter what, and she's very ambitious to do that. Even though she deeply regrets everything she did in her past life, she continues doing the same for revenge (leading sovieshu on, etc) but this is all for a greater cause. She no longer submits to Ergy's manipulations and makes him suffer. She has an obsession with cleanliness because dirty things remind her of her past.

I think Ian would be the more shy, sensitive kid whilw Glorym would be the protective sister, but when the situation requires it hes even MORE protective (i dont think that even makes sense). I loved the idea of them being twins because it is a canon fact Ian will always remain Rahsta's son no matter the universe. Rashta would finally get to raise her kids basically. My art skills improved unu
