Hey, idk if this is a good place to ask but is there a difference if you write your pronouns as for example she/her vs she/her/hers ? Ive seen people write in the third pronoun addition, does it matter/mean anything? Would it mean something different if i wrote my pronouns as (for example) she/her/they vs if i wrote she/they ? And thanks if u answer:)
hello! this is a great question. I think it depends on who you ask. I know of people who use more than one pronoun and prefer to have pronouns used in a specific way. for example: a person may be comfortable using they pronouns in a scenario where one might say, “oh, have you seen Jordan? I don’t know where they are”
and then prefer “her” used like this: “that is her bag. they went to the washroom and left her bag”
most often though, I think it’s just about personal choice about how one chooses to write it in their bios.
