Do you know any free poem publishing environments online? I mean somewhere that is exclusively for poetry.
Another Holocaust happened in Iran. IRGC (which just got designated as a terrorist organization by EU Foreign Ministers) murdered more than 50000 peaceful protesters, and many arrested protesters are in danger of execution. These aren't just numbers, these are the lives of people mostly young ones that have dreams for a better life and freedom.
There are others that can probably put it into words better than I can, but referring to the massacre of protesters and civilians as “another Holocaust” is incredibly problematic and an appropriation of Jewish trauma. What’s happening in Iran is horrendous and the IRGC deserves to fall, but please don’t refer to what it’s currently doing as “another Holocaust.” The Holocaust was unique in its depravity and horror, and to refer to what’s happening now as such is a downplay of the atrocities committed, and again, an appropriation of Jewish trauma.
Check out @unsolicited-opinions and @nonbinaryjudean if you are confused. Idk why the tagging them isn’t working.
I couldn't reply to your post, so i had to reblog it to reply. I didn't mean to disrespect the jews at all. You guys stood with us during these hard times more than anyone even so called activists who "declare" humanity rights is what they're concerned about. So if a misunderstanding happened I respectfully apologize, i just meant to describe how awful the situation in Iran is. Thank you for your explanation and thank you for standing with the people of Iran.
Hi my blog doesn't have many followers but I really have to send my voice to the world, however small it may be.
Iran needs the world's help but we are getting neglected by all countries and the United Nations.
We've been living under a fascist and murderous regime for over 40 years. And we've been protesting and they silence us by directly shooting at us EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
We can't afford our food anymore, the inflation rate is beyond imagination and people are being threatened and killed for just stating their opinions.
For the last weeks we've been protesting in our streets for a regime change, for a brighter future for all of us, and they kill us on spot. We've been in a digital blackout for weeks now we don't know the exact number but we know that over 10000 people have been killed in the first few days.
This regime doesn't care for the life of people opposing it, they call us terrorists and execute us. And we aren't getting the support from other nations because people think since it's an "Islamic" regime our protests are nonsense.
We need you to be our voice. I don't know how much longer I can have access to international internet but let me tell you this. WE NEED YOU.

Where are the bodies of Iranian women????!!
Where are the bodies?????!!!

WHERE?????
How can people make jokes and use this tone to downplay our pain and loss?
Many people have been seriously killed by the regime, and this is real-if you have even been in one protest in Iran in the last 10 years, you know it. I have that experience. They literally shot tear gas into hospitals and brutally beat people in the streets. They committed every kind of crime against humanity you can imagine.
The person who shared this tweet runs the first British Pakistani-led anti-racism organization in the UK. That makes it even more shameful how she ignores what's happening in Iran simply because she supports Gaza. I don't know-I'm not even surprised anymore.
It feels like this kind of tone and dismissal only helps the regime's narrative and causes real harm to protesters.
tw: sensitive topics (gun violence, death) explained in details
Those aren't just names or pictures you see on the internet, those are people. Actual people.
One of them had the same favourite song as you, one shared a hobby with you, one had the same smile as you; Some of them left home not knowing that they won't return home ever again - some of them did, but didn't have enough time to say goodbye. Some of them got shot while they were still alive, breathing; but taking them to the hospital would've been too human.
"freedom!" Was the last word of some of them. Some didn't even get the chance to say something, to shout something; They died on the streets, on the cold, blood covered streets.
Someday, we'll grow wings; we'll grow wings in the honor of those who didn't. those who fought for us, those who died for us. We will keep fighting. This is the last fight and we are the winners. 🪽
I’m sorry I just. I normally use Tumblr for escapism, but. What the fuck is happening with the coverage of Iran? Or lack thereof? Why are so few people and platforms giving this crisis the weight it deserves? Why are so many left-wing people I want to admire either staying silent or to some degree siding with the regime, from repeating the regime's propaganda to criticising the protestors? Why the hell is it right-wing people I despise, and otherwise wholeheartedly disagree with, talking the most about Iran?
Like. I think I kind of know why. A myriad of sociopolitical reasons, including self-interest and racism and ignorance and misguided 'enemy of my enemy' thinking about the Islamic world vs bastards like Trump and Netanyahu. But I'm still appalled. None of that can justify turning a blind eye or cold shoulder to the worst massacre in modern Iranian history. And the Iranian people have suffered a lot of massacres! Mostly at the hands of their own government and police force!
I've been seeing and reblogging so many posts about the ICE situation in the USA (which makes sense, because almost half the users of this site live there), and... listen. That gives me a nice point of comparison. What's happening in America, with Trump and ICE and all of that, that's awful. It's horrendous. It makes my blood boil. It is the tip of the iceberg. What the Islamic Republic is doing in Iran is the entire frozen mass around the North Pole. On every front, it is worse. Totalitarianism? Oppression? Corruption? Unjust policing? Religious extremism? Misogyny? Homophobia? Environmental devastation? Economic divide and insecurity? Abuse of power? Name an issue you have with Trump, and the mullahs are doing it a million times worse. That's why I'm so disappointed that he's the only world leader who said - even temporarily - that he would provide the foreign aid that is urgently needed. He and Supreme Leader Khamenei (that is his real title) are cut from the same vile cloth!
So if the USA makes my blood boil when I live in the UK... you can imagine how I feel about Iran, my father's homeland. I'm going fucking crazy.
Yes, it is essential that people pay attention and spread the truth of the Ugly Shitstorm of America, in order to hopefully prevent that nation from going further down its dark path. The Islamic 'Republic' is at the end of that same path. It is a textbook dystopia. The rulers and servants of this regime have been starving, terrorising, brutalising, imprisoning, torturing and murdering countless citizens, both for protesting against it and for literally any other reason, since 1979. That's when my dad left at fifteen, when his parents sent him away to get out of there as the shit hit the fan. Right now, my grandparents are over there. Right now people are in crippling poverty, with a terrible water shortage due to the regime's management and environmental exploitation. People are being slaughtered. Gunned down in the streets. Locked away in horrific conditions. Children are being raped and executed. This is all routine.
What's different this time is the unprecedented scale and unity of the protests. This time, maybe, just maybe, some real positive change might actually be accomplished. But probably not without any outside help.
So if you disapprove of ICE, if the events in America frighten, anger or disgust you - hell, if you disapprove of Nazi Germany - please support Iran. Try not to let over 1600 brave protestors die in vain. And make damn sure it's the Iranian people you're supporting, not the monsters trying to crush them.
please use the hashtag #R2PforIran and #StopExecutionsInIran many arrested protesters' lives and doctors who helped the injured people are in danger right now
I don't know if you understand it or not but the massacre was more than 2 weeks ago, and the it was so terrifying in just 2 days, that the government is STILL filling the warehouses, morgues, and forensic centers with hundreds of dead bodies EVERYDAY.
And the horrible part is these are not all of the murdered people. Many of them are lost (you should read: stolen), and the identity of the many is unknow, because the police shot the people in the head and face. No face, no identity. You may ask what about their fingerprints? What about DNA tests?
Its funny that the government won't give a fuck about the bodies' identity. Fingerprint recognition costs them money and time, and there's no way they care about people this much to give them back to their families. (90 percent of the families can't pay 5,000 dollar to take the body back, so even if their identity is recognised, government gets no money.)
No family? Easy. Just burn them. Bury them in a single grave with 10 more unknown bodies in nowhere (which they actually did.)
and most importantly, like i said in my previous post, these are just the bodies of men and boys. No one knows if they're gonna ever give the women and girls back or not.
I don't know how am I still alive.
Thousands of protesters were shot dead and injured people were buried alive in Iran. Approximately 50,000 people. In just 2 days. Where are pro palestine activists? Why are so quiet rn? Because you are well aware if the terrorist IRGC falls your terrorist groups are next in the line.
Be Iranian people’s voice.
I wish the world knows what's going on in Iran. It's been more than two weeks since we don't have any access to the internet, and some of us just can connect by chance for a few seconds. Our people have no way to tell the world about their sufferings. I saw horrible things with my own eyes, and I'm too scared to talk about them.
Iranian people are so kind and warm-hearted and they don't deserve what's happening to them. Just imagine seeing the blood of your peers on the streets you used to walk on everyday. And for what ? For wanting freedom. For wanting a better future.
I just want to see better days.
Tehran, Iran, Last days of 2025
I want the world to know that in Iran, we are not protesting the Islamic Republic just because of the currency collapse or economic problems. Every part of our lives has been destroyed by the Islamic clerical regime. All we ever wanted was a normal life.
So
Woman, Life, Freedom forever.
