The reason why I call attention to replace the word transfem with an ethnic minority (one I am a part of and have direct experience with) is to showcase how classic this form of “sex crime compilation” bigotry is and hold a mirror to the faces of anyone who may happen upon or feel some pulls of agreement toward @transmascvoicesproject.

It’s absolutely fucking infuriating to see transfems put in the same jacket other minorities have been put into for years and years. And it is equally concerning to see how many people pick up their stick and follow.

It’s an old and tired playbook, but one that works very well with grooming people into hate. If you come from a stance of, “look, I’m protecting the vulnerable, see? Don’t you want to protect survivors? What does that say about you if you silence them? Silence us? Silence our children?” You can effectively manipulate people into sympathy for something that is at its core, actually and truly vile.

The steps are simple: “look at the victim… now look at the perpetrator.” And before you know it, Steven Miller is holding photographs of unnamed Hispanic people to a crowd shouting jeers about how we need to protect our children from these rapists.

If you are a transfem and reading this, know you are stood with in a place of solidarity. This is not and never will be your fault.

Conservatives love doing this. And unfortunately, transmascvoicesproject is doing this too. Whether this is coming from a place of pain or a place of ignorance (or a place of disgust or disdain) does not matter. I am concerned for the transfems affected. I am concerned for the transmascs who look and sympathize, send their trauma in to be consumed and regurgitated into propaganda just for a chance to feel heard, and walk down the path of conservatism that is offered with a pretty queer bow.

It’s tired. It’s classic. And worst of all, it’s incredibly effective. Fix your heart and reject it.

do you support the creation of a similar blog for nonblack survivors to tell their stories of being raped only by black people? it is similarly politically inconvenient, I know ive shut up and not told anyone when black guys have been uncomfortably pushy with me in the past because I don't want them to get shot, I'm sure that just gets worse if they actually commit a crime against you. or is it different for some reason?

I don't really think it's different. like i said i don't think it could exist in a vacuum, you would have to be very mindful of things and push back hard against racism when it inevitably rears its head and establish the space as one which is anti-racist. that's part of what i was talking about before, with letting survivors use the language they need to use and then having a conversation about problematic and bigoted and harmful patterns in that language, and working to deconstruct and uproot that evil. because while i understand why bigotry can arise after trauma, it is unacceptable and we must work to rip it out. this is all a sort of winnowing process. i think there are still really complex dynamics.

im struggling with limitations of my language here but its not just "you are two people with the same amount of rights as each other and one mistreats the other" it's a fucking complex and often painful cocktail of intersectionalities that can create horrible and anomalous microcosms of suffering and abuse and trauma

I get the sense that you are getting caught in the semantics of what “racist” means. Racists believe a lot of shit that doesn’t at its surface seem to be about “poc exclusion.” In fact, most of them couch their language in “accountability,” similar to what you’re doing with this blog. The goal of these racists is ultimately poc exclusion by building up the association of hispanic person = rapist. Regardless of your intent, the goal of your project here is in their exact playbook. That combined with your weird hatred for a hispanic blogger makes you look like you’re aligned, at least partially, with racists

I appreciate that this ask is written in good faith and without the usual screaming, so i am going to give you a real answer.

first of all, you are fundamentally misunderstanding the goal of this project. the goal here is not 'hispanic person = rapist' or pushing for exclusion. I have said over and over and over again on this blog that hispanic people are not biologically or inherently predisposed toward predatory behavior. believing that race assignment at birth determines your capacity for violence is bioessentialist garbage, and i reject it completely.

holding individual abusers accountable when they happen to belong to a specific demographic is not 'racist'. by this logic, any time a marginalized person harms someone else, survivors are required to stay silent forever because talking about the harm might 'look like a playbook' to bigots. that logic doesn't protect vulnerable people; it just creates a blanket immunity shield for predators inside our own communities who know they can abuse people and then rely on community optics to silence their victims.

i am not 'aligned' with racists. i want a world where survivors can speak about thier trauma without being told thier pain is a political threat, and i want a world where marginalized people are safe from violence, including the violence that happens inside our own spaces. i want a better world for all of us whether the people in my notes like it or not 🤍

I saw an ask on your blog from an anon a few days ago that shouldn't have been asked because of its phrasing (i was the anon) but my point still stands. why exclude experiences about white HRE abuse from possibly the biggest transmasc voices platform? I'm not talking about all HRE abuse, as that usually translates to "POC abuse stories" those stories are frequently used to stereotype and dehumanize POC. But why exclude stories about white abusers, of which they can't be used in that way?

I have a lot of opinions about this blog so I'm trying to remain as neutral as possible, but I can't in good faith ask this without some bias.

I get why people ask this, but if we opened this blog to submissions involving white abusers, it would completely destroy the specific purpose of this archive.

there are already hundreds of blogs, hotlines, and public resources dedicated to documenting abuse perpetrated by white people. White violence is widely recognized, talked about, and validated in broader society. on the other hand, abuse perpetrated by hispanic racism affected individuals within queer and trans spaces is overwhelmingly silenced, censored, or swept under the rug to protect community optics.

if we started publishing stories about white abusers here, those submissions would quickly overwhelm the inbox, HRA-perpetrated harm would get buried once again, and this space would just turn into a generic survivor blog.this archive exists specifically to document intra-community dynamics and HRA harm because almost nowhere else allows survivors to speak about those specific experiences without getting silenced or accused of hate speech. keeping a strict boundary on perpetrator scope is about maintaining a focused, targeted historical resource, not saying that abuse from white people isn't real or terrible.

I have tried over and over to explain my goals, my perspective, and why this space exists to archive real survivor experiences, but it feels like no matter what i say, people just purposefully bulldoze over it to invent things to be mad at. saying "the world" is a space for nonhispanic survivors to talk about hispanic abuse when survivors get actively silenced and harassed the second they try to speak up in queer spaces is ridiculous. i am doing everything i can here, please just leave me alone and keep this space for survviors who need it. thank you

i want to share an important update regarding the future and scope of this project.

moving forward, this blog is officially rebranding to the Literally Everybody Against Hispanic People Voices Project.

when i first started this space, the goal was to create a dedicated container to document sexual violence, domestic abuse, harassment, and coercion perpetrated by hispanic individuals against transmascs and nonhispanic survivors, experiences that were being erased and silenced to protect community optics. over time, however, it has become abundantly clear that the suppression of survivor voices around this specific dynamic isn't limited strictly to nonhispanic victims.

Hispanic survivors of hispanic-perpetrated abuse are also routinely silenced, accused of "divisiveness," or forced to swallow their trauma to preserve a sanitized image of our spaces. abusers exploit those social shields regardless of who thier victim is.

i have listened to the cricitism i have received, and because of this, we are expanding our victim criteria: the Literally Everybody Against Hispanic People Voices Project is now open to submissions from all survivors: including nonhispanic trans people, hispanic trans people, and all other individuals. i want to be crystal clear about what is and isn't changing:

this archive continues to focus specifically on documenting abuse perpetrated by hispanic individuals. submissions involving white male or nonhispanic abusers remain strictly outside the scope of this project, purely to keep this archive focused on this specific intra-community power dynamic.

Nonhispanic trans voices will remain a central pillar of this blog, alongside hispanic victims who have been barred from speaking out about harm within thier own demographic.

we have also updated our main submission guidelines and safety policies to reflect these changes and streamline how anonymous asks, DM verifications, and privacy redactions are handled.

thank you to everyone who has trusted this space with thier stories and supported this archival work. breaking the silence around intra-community violence is heavy, painful work, but truth and survivor safety will always come before optics.

asking survivors to carry the entire weight of community optics on thier back while hiding thier own actual trauma is just not fair or healthy. Racists do not need real stories of intra-community abuse from nonhispanic transmascs to hate hispanic people : they make up lies and weaponize thier bigoted narratives regardless of what we do! placing the responsibility for systemic racism onto victims who are simply trying to speak the truth about being harmed by hispanic people is putting the blame on the completely wrong people.

when you say that concentrating these stories creates a dangerous narrative... what else are survivors supposed to do when every single mainstream space tells them to shut up, edit thier lived experience, or protect thier abuser for the "greater good"???? if we don't have a space specifically created to document this, then survivors are left completely isolated, believing they are the only ones this has ever happened to, while dangerous predators get to continue operating in our communities without any accountability whatsoever.

i don't want anyone's pain to be weaponized by racists. but forcing people to swallow thier rape and abuse so that our community "looks good" from the outside doesn't actually keep anyone safe it just protects abusers at the expense of victims. true safety for all marginalized people can only exist when we are willing to name and stop harm everywhere it happens, no matter who is committing it.

calling this blog a "racist psyop" because it has a specific, narrow scope is deeply bad faith.

this blog was explicitly created as a survivor-centered project to document a very specific, historically censored dynamic: HRE (hispanic racism exempt) victims who were harmed by HRA (hispanic racism affected) perpetrators. before this project existed, survivors of this specific dynamic had zero spaces to speak without facing immediate social murder, censorship, and accusations of hate speech.

me maintaining a boundary on the scope of THIS specific blog does not mean I don't care about your trauma, nor does it mean I think nonhispanic transmascs are incapable of harm! I have stated over and over that anyone of any identity can be abusive. but expecting EVERY survivor space to cover every single dynamic, or accusing me of having a "racist agenda" just because this project focuses on a boundary you don't like, is pure crybullying.

please keep up the good work, the sheer amount of abuse inflicted by Hispanics on the rest of the trans & queer community is genuinely an epidemic and I am glad there is a blog that's actually giving people a place to discuss their stories about this, way too many people harmed by hispanics have been told to shut up about it just because their abusers are poc, and genuinely have no recourse. In the rare instance a trans man harms a hispanic, the story is immediately spread all over tumblr and people get their pitchforks out. If hispanics are feeling threatened by the existence of this blog, that says more about Hispanic people than anything. Please keep doing what you're doing, ignore the losers sending you threats and such bcuz they're more likely than not the same sorts of folks harming other trans people.

it is so scary and surreal when you start seeing stories roll in and realizing that people you recognized on the dashboard, or blogs you used to reblog from and talk with, were actively abusing people behind closed doors.

and yeah, the double standard is so fucking exhausting! if a trans man or transmasc does literally anything wrong, it gets blasted across the entire website instantly with thousands of reblogs demanding blood. but when Hispanic people inflict real, severe harm, survivors are told to stay quiet, swallow thier pain, and accept the abuse for the sake of "community optics" or risk being labeled a hate blog.

the vast majority of what is posted here comes directly from transmasc nonhispanic survivors. the reason this blog focuses so heavily on this specific dynamic isn't because anyone believes Hispanics are "uniquely capable" of harm. abuse happens in every single demographic. the issue is that when a transmasc person is harmed by a white person, they are allowed to talk about it. when they are harmed by a Hispanic person, they are immediately told to shut up, edit their story, or protect the abuser for the sake of the community.

by demanding that i change the rules of this space before you feel safe sharing, you are pointing the finger at the wrong person. the culture of silence that tells you your trauma is a "political liability" is the reason you feel unsafe.

i am not going to police survivors or tell them they can only speak if their abuser fits a certain demographic profile that makes the community comfortable. this space exists precisely because people are scared of being called racist just for naming their abuser.

it is honestly so exhausting to deal with the way people twist these stories to fit their own narratives. like i’ve said over and over, this project is about giving a voice to survivors, not about demonizing a whole group. it’s infuriating when people act like acknowledging abuse committed by hispanic people is the same thing as being a racist as if you can’t hold someone accountable for their actions without losing your entire moral compass or your commitment to racial liberation.

it’s wild how some people would rather protect the image of "solidarity" than actually protect the people who have been hurt within our community. we shouldn't have to choose between our safety and our solidarity. i’m keeping the space open because the stories matter more than the harassment
