Alexander McQueen - “SAVAGE BEAUTY” {Exhibition} #2
The garden is an enduring theme of country china. Pieces from antique shops and markets are mixed and matched to great effect. The tableware on the lower shelves of the dresser was popular in the 1930s and 1940s.

‘Untitled’ by Paweł Fabjański
Paweł Fabjański is a visual artist and photographer based in Poland. While most of his professional work is commercial, he likes to experiment with more abstract ideas for his personal portfolio. In his series ‘Untitled’ in cooperation with set designer Zuza Słomińska, Paweł uses the temporarily empty facilities of Lodz university as his playground, just moments before they were filled with people trying to push their ideas a step further. This emptiness is a contrast to the captured objects built of everyday items like cups and pencils. They seem like scribble notes turned into real life objects and are a metaphor for the creative compulsion, that Paweł believes lives in every single one of us.

not to assume that everyone reblogging this doesn’t already know this, but this image is of flowers thrown in the mediterranean sea to honor the lives of migrants who drown trying to make it to europe. i see a crazy amount of aesthetic blogs linking themselves in the comments and saying things like “aēsthėtic” for something that should never ever be an aesthetic post imo. please honor the lives of these people by not divorcing this image from its original context and not forgetting the continued conflicts that set their deaths in motion.
