STEVEN RODRIGUEZ PERCY VOICE CLAIM IS SOOOOOO REAL. i have steven rodriguez as percy’s singing voice claim but as for his like regular talking voice. i always tend to imagine his voice really low and quiet just because he’s a really quiet guy. i don’t exactly have a voice claim for what i tend to imagine but like his voice is heavy on the bass yknow? like he’s so quiet you’ll forget he’s there but then he’ll speak and his voice will literally rumble thru you

so it’s a bit of a struggle to understand him sometimes because it sounds like he’s mumbling and actually he kind of is and with his voice being deep on top of it, it’s a pain to understand what he says. when he wants you to hear what he’s saying, he’ll pitch his voice a few octaves higher to sound like. a regular dude? but otherwise his voice remains in the low octave range

random headcanon, but Percy could tell the difference between Annabeth and Aphrodite if they were both in front of him. He loves Annabeth so much, that the slightest difference in her usual posture / manner of speaking / expression makes him instantly aware

reallllllllll. like i do think he’s memorized her heartbeat and the sound of her blood rushing through her veins via his powers latching onto her blood. so like the slightest difference causes his senses to overlook it and search for her actual blood instead so if he turned and suddenly saw her there but his powers weren’t latched onto her blood, he’d be started and so put off by her because something inside him is like screaming at him that that’s not right. but also i like percy being able to just. tell.
