i can't believe after that awful draft was posted on instagram made me start to think about this band again.....Sigh .

#idk thinking about noodle's treatment in canon and in the fandom makes me . sad . lol .#i still like the music don't get me wrong !!!#it's just kind of a pain to like the characters and looking at the writing from phase 4 to onwards !#i don't want to come across as being too overbearingly Negative......Even Though it's my sideblog #and i'm not expecting any type of immediate attention .

me, for the past few years: i think it would be really nice if the writers gave noodle more dimension to her character and explore different aspects of her personality than just her being the token "strong female character and a mother figure to the guys" and have her be a bit more vulnerable.

i’ve just realized that at the early part of a year (so far) it gets really chaotic for gorillaz, like first there was the nft thing in 2021 (that was silently cancelled, i have no idea why they didn’t make a post saying that the plans for that were cancelled but w/e i guess) and then for 2022 we had that whole swiftie thing....i wonder what 2023 will bring...............

the fact that we hear more about the moonflower lady than whatever russel and noodle are doing during this era is shameful, why are they constantly put in the sidelines

like they have so many opportunities to give more insight on their roles in the cult (noodle being “the scholar” and russel being the “seeker of truth”) but they just…don’t do that. like yeah sure theres a few hints here and there and then there’s the whole “noodleboard” thing but besides that they literally have nothing. i kind of don’t care about the love triangle they’re trying to set up between 2d and murdoc w/ moonflower and idgaf if it’s suppose to show how “complex their dynamic still is” i wanna hear more about the other band members
