Shiro is so amazing. He was a terminally ill, lgbt, poc character who later ended up becoming an amputee with ptsd. He's the leader of voltron. A lead protagonist with so many struggles yet he is the most understanding compassionate person. He isnt shown off as perfect either, we see his struggles. He was forced to fight for a race specifically known for being rutheless and teaching their young the art of battle from a young age. We see him a human defeat warriors from this race; become a champion in their arena. We see him go through so much choosing the love of his life or his dreams, and there is so much more though out the series.

The nervous expressions are the ones who have an arc surrounding the poster: pidge and being a girl, keith and being part galra. Now we just found out Shiro had a fiance Adam on Earth, but he isn’t nervous here. In fact, he has his hand on Lance’s shoulder exactly how Hunk has his hand on Keith’s. Now this is interesting, because Hunk is the one who was most accepting of Keith and helped him after he found he was part galra. Shiro doesn’t an arc around being lgbt, but Lance will. Who better to help him realize he likes likes boys than Shiro, a gay man? Take this as you will, but to me I think Shiro will help Lance realize his feelings for Keith after getting over Allura. I hate to bring drama into my mostly light hearted fun blog but I feel like I need to weigh my say into this.

Listen guys, just listen. You guys have to think about the canon before you start to say stuff like this. Keith was basically TOOKEN IN and raised by someone who loves him dearly. I’m sorry but if someone took me in, trained me, pushes me to be great when everyone else shit on me, I would give my whole fucking life to them too.

But just listen. Adam loves Shiro dearly and there is no doubt in my mind that they loved each other but listen. It was a relationship. Shiro raised Keith, HE TOOK IN THIS POOR BOY THAT HAD NO WHERE ELSE TO TURN TO. Adam is a lover. The loves are different no matter if you ship Sheith or not, alright?

plus, you have to think, Shiro and Adam were never in a life or deat hitch situations with each other. They spent time together at the Garrison together and they grew to love each other. It’s not like Keith who probably thinks he owes his life to Shiro. These two men were in two completely different situations. Do not put them against each other.

Now I have no doubt that Adam would probably lay down his whole life for Shiro, hell he was going to marry him BUT Adam was scared. This poor man didn’t want to lose his lovely boyfriend just because he went on some space mission to the moon. I’m sure he supported Shiro up until that point but that’s where their personalties most likely clashed. Adam valued his boyfriend above any mission and Shiro wanted to do what would be good for everyone. Shiro thinks differently than Adam and poor Adam couldn’t take the thought. So probably in an act of sadness and rage he made Shiro choose. Not because he wanted to use their love against them, it was because he couldn’t stand the thought of his boyfriend dead in space.

You guys need to think a bit more into this before you starf posting crazy stuff like this but remember:

Keith and Adam are two different men, in two different situations.
