At times I find myself smiling, at others wanting to cry. And some of their story will sound so familiar you'll think you're hearing this from Shawn himself.

"Ride with me to the end of the world..."

Not even sure if this thing is still on, but something made me think of it today so I thought I'd drop in. And you know - YOU KNOW - I can't resist a good music video post. Some things never change ;-)

I could spend months writing updates on everything that's happened and everything that's changed since the last time I posted anything online. But suffice it to say, just about everyone I ever wrote about here is fine or better. "Chris" and I are still a family, riding together toward whatever world the future has in store for us; albeit with more dogs and a couple of other critters now, too. We're figuring out this whole midlife crisis thing together because, fck... we're old.

To anyone who stumbles across this... I hope things are going well for you, too. Every so often I dust these stories off and read them again and am instantly transported back in time. This was fun. Some of the stuff I wrote makes me cringe a bit now, but it's a damn good time machine. It still makes me smile. I've thought about many of you over the years and sincerely hope every one of you is living a life that is so much better than you ever imagined possible...
