I love when black is used tastefully in a home!
“And who don’t appreciate their blessings deserve its loss”
Rainer Maria Rilke, tr. by A. Poulin Jr., Duino Elegies and The Sonnets to Orpheus
“I knew that what was left of me would always love you, but never in quite the same way.”
—
I think one of the saddest things is when two people really get to know each other: their secrets, their fears, their favorite things, what they love, what they hate, literally everything, and they go back to being strangers. It’s like you have to walk past them and pretend like you never knew them, never even talked to them before, when really, you know everything about them.
I like people with emotional and intellectual depth, speaking so passionately about everything they believe in is honestly so beautiful
““Forgiveness is an act of the imagination. It dares you to imagine a better future, one that is based on the blessed possibility that your hurt will not be the final word on the matter. It challenges you to give up your destructive thoughts about the situation and to believe in the possibility of a better future. It builds confidence that you can survive the pain and grow from it.””
— Larry James (via naturaekos)
“Letting go is like the medicine, we drink it despite its bitter taste; in order to heal.” -
Allah has a plan for you. He's not punishing you...He's preparing you! Sometimes He has to remove certain things/people from our life because He loves us too much to see us hurt. I know it can get hard to understand the places He's taking your life to, it's all in His plan to take us to the place where He wants us to be. Your tears have served the ground for far too long and it's time to let JOY take over your heart. I want you to smile because even though you might not realize what Allah is doing NOW... later you will understand! All you have to do is TRUST IN HIM with ALL your heart! Your best days are ahead!. #Jannah
“Perhaps the purest and deepest form of love is having someone praying and supplicating for you, without you ever knowing …”
— Mufti Ismail Menk (via naturaekos)
What an honour it is to know Allah. What an incredible thought. Imagine, from the beginning of time until the end, every single human that has existed and that is yet to exist, *you* were from amongst those whom Allah chose to know Him. There is no honour greater than this.
Alhamdulilah
For what’s come and what’s gone
For the things we’ve grown attached to that force themselves away from us
Our heart tendons are pulled theyre tugged but they’re not broken, although the pain is present. Attachment is an idea and not a physical thing
As real as the pain may feel it’s more mental than anything else.
With the grace of god, let go.
For the only thing your heart should be filled with is that that cannot pull away from you.
Fill your heart with the love of your own soul, and for the love of your creator. For the love of Allah is ultimate and it is complete. Never will it pull away from you
The things of this world can only be possessed physically. Don’t let worldly matters effect your spirit, possess them as they should be in your right hand and not in your heart.
The arabic word iman (translated as ’faith’) actually refer to the state of fearlessness. The state of no worry. The state of trust. Of utter acceptance. This is the iman of the heart and the saints and prophets who are enlightened, their hearts are glowing with iman (i.e. state of no fear).
حیراں ہوں میرے دل میں سمائے ہو کس طرح
I am astonished by how You settled in my heart
حالانکہ دو جہاں میں سماتے نہیں ہو تم
Though even the two worlds cannot accomodate You
- Naz Khialvi
