Physical and Mental Reports
One of the few crew members of the Vespasian without a concerning medical history, Loundes’ only fall is her below average physical fitness. A 15 year academic career has lead Loundes into a very sedentary lifestyle, and once she was cleared for the project, she was given a strict training and dietary regime to begin building her strength. Knowing she’d be on the field more than at her desk, Loundes built her cardiovascular strength and upper body strength to an above average level that exceeded the expectations of all of her superiors.
Loundes passed all mental health sessions with ease, proving herself able and dependable, with a strong moral compass, despite the disaster that took her late husband’s life. Following the incident in 2093, Loundes remained surprisingly calm, and shows no signs of bitterness towards the crew of the Tybalt, but has not spoken with her brother-in-law Dominic since the funeral. Along with a strong sense of justice, Loundes proved herself wholly dedicated to her work, and despite having an average IQ, her hard work and perseverance was reflected in the 289 page thesis on the Engineers that was printed in journals around the world. Smart, unerring, and slightly unpredictable, Weyland marked her as a promising scientist early in her career with them.
Born in Portland, Oregon, Nora Loundes (nee Rolland) found herself enraptured by the prospect of other beings as a young child. She buried herself in the idea of Engineers developed by Elizabeth Shaw during her college years at Stanford University, despite initially going there to study Paleolithic designs, and graduated at the top of her class with research offers from 12 universities around the world. She chose Oxford University, where she met Elizabeth Shaw, Charlie Holloway and Thomas Frost, before being employed by the Weyland Corporation for an exploratory mission on Titan. It was on the USCSS Uriel that Nora met Jason Loundes. They were married on the ship one year into the exploration, and settled in his hometown of Ontario. After the freak accident that left him brain dead, and his brother close behind, Nora had no say in what happened to her husband’s body, but was glad Jason could have saved his beloved brother. Nora suspects that Dom’s experimental nuclear systems caused the accident, and has since refused to speak with him.
Nora is an archaeologist on the Vespasian, under the direction of Thomas Frost
She knows what is in the Weapons Laboratory only because there would be no other reason why Dominic would be there
Usable face claims include Katie McGrath and Bridget Regan
