Jack.
CHAOS WAS BEGINNING to break loose even before the news of what had happened had fully well made it to everyone’s ears – this was merely a ripple effect. two or three people had caught a glimpse of the horror that had ruined the party and it was enough to make everyone frantic and scared. people were running around like chicken with their heads cut off… and jack didn’t even want to try and keep everything under control – that why they had ayanna. now, he needed to get his head clear ; he needed to get out of there, because as his hands began to tremble with anger, he knew being around so many ridiculously upset people ( people who were upset that didn’t even k n o w aiden, for fuck’s sake ) wasn’t going to calm him down. skipping through the unsettled crowd, jack was making his way out until his eyes fell on a familiar posture, sitting on the ground. “ fucking hell. “, he mumbled under his breath – who on fucking earth invited h e r ? he didn’t want maya in éclatant. he didn’t even want her near it. it wasn’t safe – and tonight only proved he was right. walking over towards her, he bowed down to carefully grab her, lifting her up from the ground ( bridal style ) and getting her out before someone would step on her in their haste to get out. “ are you okay ? what are you d o i n g here ? where is aydin ? “.
Maya grasped at the leg of a chair with her left hand trying to push her body weight up without putting too much pressure on her foot, as pain shoot up her leg at even the slightest contact. In her singular efforts to get out of the way of everyone pushing to the door she didn’t notice Jack until he was kneeling down right in front of her. Before she could say anything he’d had her up off the ground and outside in no time. She held her bleeding hand against her chest, her eyes darting around watching everyone moving around them. It was complete and utter madness, and someone was...dead. Looking back at him she began to ask him if he was okay as soon as he did. “I’m fine, I think my ankle’s hurt but it’s fine. The invite it...it doesn’t really matter. Aydin’s over at a friends, he’s safe.” She reassured, looking at her hand, the sight of all the glass was too much and she finally just tried to rip one of the bigger shards of glass out, sucking in a sharp breath as she did. “You can put me down now...actually can you just take me to my car? I should go...I should-” She lost her train of thought again feeling distorted as the police cars pulled in sirens blazing. “Are you okay?” She asked finally looking back to him.
