ok i know this whole fandom loves the "only winners remember the life games" headcanon but what if it was reversed. what if the winner is the only one who forgets. like.

a grian who can't remember the desert and scar who feels the blood from the cactus on his back and is begging him to know him like that again.

a pearl who doesn't know why she's suddenly scared of rejection (a scott who refuses to acknowledge what he did to her).

a scar who never remembers the aching loneliness of the sunflowers or the rising paranoia of the infection.

there's so much angst potential in this. them all fighting for the ability to forget one round of the killing. scott's first experience of the boogeyman is in limited. martyn's forgotten two whole seasons. nobody knows how the winners die.
