My players' hobby is to adopt NPCs who are meant to appear for only one session, yet they keep recruiting them, and I've no heart to say no 😔 Anyway, here's a portrait of Opal, an NPC from our ongoing Icewind Dale campaign.

This is a very, very rudimentary design, but I wanted to put down the basic concept first. He's going to be an illusionist wizard, and I found it fitting to give him a magician vibe. That said, he's very pedantic and insufferable, so don't initiate conversations with this guy lol.

A portait of my tiefling paladin, Balthazar, that I painted last year, but never posted, because I wanted to wait until I finish a full body picture, which uhh obviously never happened lol. Anyway, my friend was teasing us that she might dm another one-shot with the gang that my babygirl was in, so I got a little excited to play him again.

I've been thinking about making a few drow adoptables, either in a futuristic/sci-fi theme or it can be more traditional high fantasy. What do you guys think?
