Get You
Scientific Method
by James Tadd Adcox
Picture the ocean. No. Picture the entire thing, all at once. You are not doing it. It’s okay. One day something terrible will happen, and I will not be prepared.
I've been doing daily* paintings for 6 years now! Here's a collection of the paintings I've done of the scene that started it all (sometimes new interpretations of the same photo) over the years.
Having a giant snowstorm on the anniversary this year obviously was a call to go out and take a new photo.
These go back in time, with the last image from March 15th, 2020. There is no painting for 2024, but there is a bonus painting from May of 2021. This year's painting was created with gouache on wood panel with a magenta underpainting.
*I have missed 3 days in the last six years, none this last year!
