i’m a piece of shit in most areas of my life, and i can never stick to anything consistently, as is evident by my post history here

but just in case there’s anyone that’s still following this tumblr, i guess i’m just updating now to say that i’m graduating this may, weirdly enough.  i just finished my last full week of classes at northeastern, and it’s pretty fuckn weird to read my posts from 2012 when i first started here

i’ve definitely changed a lot, and i’ve become a much worse student, and i am mostly happier than i ever was back then, so overall i’d say it’s been a successful 5 years

i’ll post more reflections later

What do you plan on doing after college? What are your career aspirations?

i don’t know.  honestly, i’m not particularly career-minded.  i want to become a mother/homemaker more than anything.  i’ll probably try to get a full-time job as an analytical chemist somewhere just so i can get a steady source of income and keep myself from going insane with boredom.  i may try to get my master’s, but i have no desire to go to grad school for a phd

i just wanna live a low-key life and surround myself with people i love

anyway, phone interviews absolutely suck.  i hate staring at my phone in silence, waiting for it to ring, feeling like my heart's about to jump right out of my chest

on the bright side, i've officially been contacted by six companies.  this year's co-op search is a little less stressful than last year's

I get so cranky when I'm surprised by huge crowds of people. I'm feeling better though because I just got my first linear algebra exam back, and I got everything right woo it's been a long time since I've done well in class

I'm mostly pissed because this NUin orientation is ruining my expectations of having a calm, quiet lunch. also a lot of people are walking really slowly or just standing in the middle of the dining hall being annoying and getting in the way

tried to go to steast for lunch before class but both Stetson dining halls were reserved for some conference. and IV is simply flooded by NUin kids. this fucking sucks

i just checked out the roster on blackboard for my upcoming classes, and here's what i've noticed: the vast majority of the students in my bio class this fall are female.  the vast majority of the students in my math class tomorrow are male.  just found this interesting

summer 2 classes start tomorrow and i feel nervous, but pleasantly so.  there are butterflies in my stomach.  i'm wicked excited to return to classes, especially since co-op showed me exactly how little i know.  now's the chance for me to rebuild my study habits and to learn more and prepare for my next co-op

also, five people i worked with at my last co-op will be taking the same class as me, so that should be fun

shit i was doing really well all day not getting emotional about leaving my co-op, but now that i'm ~15 minutes away from leaving, i'm starting to freak out.  i just finished packing up all my stuff and removing my photos and sticky notes from the cubicle.  i straightened things out and threw some stuff away and now my cube looks dead and lifeless and now i'm starting to feel sad

this last week has been a waste of time.  i have no duties or responsibilities and i'm just sitting here doing mostly nothing.  i feel so guilty that i'm getting paid for this.  i just want classes to start again.  i need a change in my routine

i have no friday classes for the next six months.  this is fantastic.  the last time i had fridays off was first semester of freshman year
