Her hands slide against his skin, pressing at muscles and dragging against fat.
Cal's face is bright white, flushed against Mare's inspection of his body. It's curious, searching, and insanely slow. It drives his brain up a wall, alights his spine and churns a deep fire in his stomach.
Those brown hands dance up his torso, brace against his pectorals, then slide up along his neck to twirl and tug into the hair pressing against his neck. It's grown too long for his taste, it gets in his face and revolts against his attempts to pin it back. Cal comes more and more tempted to sheer it all off by the day.
But then Mare's fingers are wrapping through it, twirling the locks around her fingers and giving gently tugs that smart ever so slightly against his skull and knock his brain out of place. His breaths come out airy and his chest shudders. His fingers twitch against her thighs framing his hips, pressing into rich brown skin that vibrates with barely contained electricity.
Her fingers deftly pass over his jaw, brushing against the stubble coming in. Then light sparks cause his lips to twitch as she pulls her thumb along his bottom lip. They must be deep gray, he can feel the blood flushing his face as his heart thumps quickly in his chest. Especially as she leans forward, brushing her own lips against his jaw.
He pants as she moves back down to his neck, mouth ghosting along his skin. Her hands drag back down his torso, taking his hips firmly and letting sparks dance along the nerves.
His legs twitch and jerk, his lower abdomen muscles tensing. He moves his own hands up along her to work out the residual electric pulses. His hands ghost along her breast, then along her shoulders before pressing fingers into the lean muscle lining her arms. Freckles dust along nearly every inch of her, condensing along her shoulders, before running up her neck to form a galaxy along her checks.
They bunch around her nose, stark against the deep reddish brown of her flushed face.
Mare takes to flicking at his nerves with small sparks as she continues her exploration of his body, he jumps and pants against each particular jolt along his muscles. She settles over his pectorals and giggles childishly as they jerk lightly against the stimulation.
"Oh, is this funny to you?" He asks lightheartedly, he feels lightheaded and his pupils must be absolutely blown wide.
She grins, bearing sharp canines, and he feels his heart seize beneath it, blood rushing through his body. Then she's dragging those electric hands up and along his shoulders, before sweeping back to his neck and wrapping those quick fingers into the hairs at the back of his neck. The soft jolts against his brain-stem should terrify him, should dislodge the primal instincts still ingrained in them and have him jerking away. Instead he lulls against, whimpering as her mouth presses at his jaw, those electric currents flooding her body splitting along the mentalis muscles.
"Maybe just a little," She says, breath brushing against his ear, then a mischievous jolt finally does have his brain snapping back into place as she leans back, and he frowns up at her. She smiles broadly down at him, checks and shoulders absolutely flushed, they make the dark freckles stand out broader.
A single, electric finger presses right above his naval, than slowly drags up his body in a slow path. His muscles twitch, jerking beneath her slight touch.
He arches beneath her softly, hips bracing against the mattress to press his torso up into her touch. The arch of red, of early dawn light, cutting across his exposed throat. Her finger dipping into the drop off at the top of his sternum, then it travels up along his neck, ghosting over his adam's apple and through the blazing line.
Cal falls way beneath her, letting his brain slip completely into the sensation of her ability splitting gently along his muscles. Happy to loll into her touch as she explores his skin at her leisure well into the rising morning and the soft shift into the noon.

I'm so sorry for the delay! This wip is quite a mess I'm realizing lololol. I definitely need to rewrite it once i get back to it, in the meantime here are the snippets!
Summer Bingo Prompts come out NEXT WEEK! In the meantime, the Norta Event Council is excited to send everyone on a scavenger hunt! We are lucky to have a plethora of aspiring and established creators in this fandom who all deserve recognition, whether that be our artists, our writers, playlist makers, headcanon experts, moodboard creators, and so many more!!
There are two hunts: The Creator Hunt and The Supporter Hunt. Each will have ten clues to check off with different works (more information in Rules). You may do both, one, or none! All we want is for folks to have fun, and to keep our fandom thriving!
In order to complete the scavenger hunt, each submission should be a post with links or screenshots (when applicable) to/of the work. You may post own clue at a time, group them together, or post all at once (as long as you keep track!) Posted works and WIPs are eligible. A sample submission post is under the cut. You do not have to complete each clue!

Your submission should come in the form of a post with @nortaeventcouncil tagged. You must include the prompt and either a snippet or a link to the corresponding work to qualify.
Clues are up to interpretation. For example, “Heat” can be the word itself, or a demonstration of it. Related words like hot, warmth, warm, would also qualify.
You may only use one individual work per prompt. No double dipping! Caveat: Different chapters in a long fic can count as individual works, but use no more than two. Example: Using chapter one for clue three and chapter six for clue eight.
Supporter Hunt: You may use up to three works from one creator.

I was thinking of planning to end with them somehow winning over Elara, Coriane has another son and Tibe chooses to name him after Maven. Not in Elara's honor but as a promise to do better by him this time around.

Mouth of the Wolf, Eyes of the Lamb: Tyven, Maven gets a healing fic (kind of) (I'm not calling it a redemption arc), he gets friends, his brother, and a toxic boy kissing situationship Canon Divergence.
Your Father Is Only Your Father Until One Of You Forgets: Tibe & Maven one shot, angst.
A Bolt in Purple: Band/Celebrity AU, Multimedia (Texting, Social Media, Tabloids/Newspaper Articles, Interviews (Buzzfeed puppy interview, Wired Autocomplete Interview, Reading Tweets, etc.), Late night talk shows, and all the jazz), MareCal, Thomaven, Cameron x Gisa, Farley x Ada
Prince of the Blood: Canon Divergence, Thomas lives and ends up getting the Prince Robert treatment as Maven's paramour, and is like playing the most fucked up game of chess with his mother-in-law while Maven's just there like "I'm so glad my mom isn't doing anything awful to my boyfriend!" (Maven please they're trying to kill each other, they just don't want you to know).
Not Yet Corpses—Still, We Rot: Canon Divergence but also like an AU where every character inhabits the stories of an Edgar Allan Poe character

I do not have a lot of writing WIPs, they do tend to be mostly art based but-
The Seventh Amalgamation: heavy canon divergence and AU, Cal's no good very bad time. This is a heavily indulgent work that features a lot of things i like solely because I like them, Sci-fi elements, nuclear reactors and radiation, buried cities and scientific (as best i can) silver blood creation. Endgame Marecal
Judge and Executioner: Canon divergence Maven and Cal au. This is an AU where instead of choosing the crown at the end of King's Cage Cal suffers a full meltdown and diverts to Maven instead. This one as planned out currently does not end happily, regardless of which end direction I decide to takem Full hallowed corruption arc Cal ehehe.
Somewhere in between it all: Tibe and Coriane AU where instead of dying on his knees in the throne room, Tibe wakes up as still just the Crown Prince with Coriane next to him. This one is not flushed out and I'm not fully sure where I want to take it, but it is essentially to be Tibe trying to change the outcome and save Coriane.
Possible expansion on Geranium - Stupidity and Folly: The Samson/Cal smut that I had consider expanding into a AU that ends in the most toxic (and yet stable) polycue to ever polycue. Extremely vague, not thoughtout, returning to thous crackship routes.

Welcome to inaugural Summer Ship Bingo! Enjoy a summer full of your favorite Red Queen ships with fun prompts to pick up whenever you want! Any kind of fanwork is welcome, whether that be art, boards, graphics, or fics!
How this will work:
There will be a main bingo card (5x5, 25 prompts total) for you to pick your prompts from. Your goal is to get bingo

There will also be two 3x3 boards (9 prompts total) posted throughout the session with a set theme and extra challenges! (same bingo rules apply!)
