Uniform part 2(read right to left)

Here we are! Part 2. I hope people enjoy this more serious comic of mine. If you prefer more my more light hearted comics, don't worry. The next few will definitely be more holsome or comedy focus.

I originally thought of this as a quick ending to Uniforms part 1 but decided that the absolute tone whiplash wouldn't be a good idea considering how humorous that one is supposed to be. It was also only about two pages long then and I expanded it here.

And just like how part one had a cut epilog this one did too. A girrafe doctor was going to cough, interupting them, and glare angrily for the scandals position they were in(them "making out" on her hospital bed with Nick over her doesn't look good to someone walking in). But just like with part 1 the I decided the total shift in tone at the very end wouldn't be worth it.

Edit: Fixed the fact that I forgot Judy's bandages in the last two pages. Sorry!

Welcome (prequel to Hoppy Holiday)

A prequel to Hoppy Holiday!

The sisters once again drop the ball. Even though it is a prequel to Hoppy Holiday it feels more like a companion to Anniversary. Also the sisters aren't trying to flirt or "take" Nick from Judy. Judy had mention to them that he was nervous and they were hoping to help him feel welcomed and to not worry about their past family prejudice about foxes. I promise in a few comics the sisters will do something right when they invite Nick and Judy to go somewhere with them!

I feel like with how shy and embarrassed Nick and Judy are at the end this conflicts with "the Talk". Which I don't mind to much/ That was my first in this series of comics and at the time I just wanted to draw something funny. I didn't realize I would start making a bunch more and weekly at that. So I was already considering not having "the Talk" be part of this canon(or would it be fanon?). Maybe I can have it take place later on the timeline but at the end of the day none of these have to be considered connected(accept if they are a multi-parter).

Wasn't expecting to get hit with another round of inspiration so soon but I did! Drew this in one day beacuse I work the rest of the week and didn't want to lose the motivation.

This is probably a small anniversary(like a two week or something) but it is there first date at someplace fancy.

I decided to leave this one a little more vague on where the two stood relationship wise.

Does Judy know she's in love or not? Are they dating or not? Does she not seem trusting enough or did they perhaps have an argument before he was assigned this job that has left her insecure? What's going on behind the door? Movie or something more?

I was really considering making this one of my more detailed fleshed out comics like BAR HOPPS or the Gideon x Ruby chapters but I NEED to prioritize more time to my Miraculous Ladybug comic I promised.

I think leaving it up to interpretation isn't bad anyway.

In reality I think it would take a little longer than a single shift for Judy to start worrying about Nick being mad at her and start crying, but for the sake of the comic(and my fingers from having to draw more to expand it) I have it to a single day.

It probably feels like I'm leaving you hanging not showing what his new punishment is but my brain meats did not want to use any more power and my fingers said no more! So you all can tell me what will happen to him!

Oh, and just in case anyone doesn't know what tool Nick was using it was a control stick. Animal control and dog trainers use it to catch animals and dogs around the neck while keeping them at a safe distance from being bit. Totally see Zootopia having the ZPD use them like they do leashes and muzzles.

Nick is so used to being alone for so long and taking care of himself he's not used to someone putting his needs first.

I was worried I wouldn't have time to finish this today because my coworker scheduled me today(without telling me) when I normally have Sunday's off. Sunday's are my drawing WildeHopps comics days. But luckily I decided to work on this one throughout the week and it's short.

Also I learned about Dubia Roaches from a YouTuber who own tarantulas. The roaches are better and safer than crickets.

I'm back! A short comic this time. Last week was...tough. But life moves on and WildeHopps is forever!

Misunderstanding(read right to left)

Oh Gary you sweet Noodle. This is my first time writing him. I hope I portrayed him well(and drew him well). I feel like Gary could absolutely think they were just police partners, then friends, then by the confession scene thought they were in love.

This takes place before the party at the end of Z2(so before Nick gave her the repaired pen).

When reading fanfic most say Judy's ears turn red but I think it would cute if her pink nose became red too, when embarrassed. My cat has a pale pink nose that becomes bright pink if he's exposed to cold air.

Also I asked people if Nick would give Gary a nickname or not and it seemed half and half but I felt there was better argument to not. Especially considering where this takes place in the time line, I felt it would of been to soon for a nickname. But here's some alternate dialog for you.

N: Hey, Carrots. Hey, Gare-Bere.

G: Hey Nick! Oh, and it's De' Snake.

N: OH, that's right. How could I forget.(Nick is just playing along for precious Gary)

This takes place just a day or two after the Lynxley case. The ZPD gave Nick and Judy the week off not only because of the false accusations, and near death experiences but also to heal from their injuries (Nick's sliced paw and Judy's poisoning).

They aren't ready to be separated yet.

Something like that. Not 100% set in stone. Things can change in the future depending on what I draw in the future or even how I'm feeling. I'll probably one day draw something that contradicts a previous comic. For the most part they are vaguely related one shots.

so are y’all normal or do you think about how judy apologizing to nick in the first film by saying “I can’t do it without you” was probably everything nick has ever wanted someone to say to him given that apart from his mom he grew up believing he was a worthless nobody and that the entire world could do it without him but then judy following it up with “after we’re done, you can hate me and that’ll be fine” was likely one of the lines that made him realize how much he wanted to stay with her because how could he ever hate the one person who thought of him as a friend and a partner and someone to cherish?? for the record I am not normal
