Another terrible thought. Fitz right now is more desperate to be where Simmons is than we’ve ever seen him (and more than we may ever see him). And yet, just last season those two were together in the same room, but Fitz didn’t want to talk and didn’t want to work with her. And I imagine the Fitz of right now is regretting that so much. He may even hate himself for it. He and Simmons were so close in physical distance yet so far because he took a long time to forgive her. To Fitz right now, those bitter, painful times may be the last months he ever spent with her. If only he could take it all back.

#no i love this i’m ready for this#they always refused to be separated you know?? even at the bottom of the ocean staring down death#but then fitz made the choice to be separated so that she might live#jem made the choice to be separated so that he might recover#and there’s been a whole mess of them holding themselves apart from each other#and i guess even before all that with the plane and the grenade etc etc#but every single one was their choice#they chose to be inseparable and then they chose to be separated#and then finally FINALLY jemma chooses being together again. inseparable for real.#BUT THE UNIVERSE FORCES THEM APART.#it’s forced separation#and just as hard as they always fought to be together before so they will now again#the episode was called laws of nature and they’re going to defy them and i can’t wait#also: they are both very hot (via @imperfectlychaotic)
