Did anyone in Shere Khan's family met Bagheera, or Bagheera's family Shere Khan?

Yes! This one is going to be a bit of a long one so stay with me here

At first Bagheera's mother has only heard about Shere Khan from Bagheera. She was a little weary due to the class difference between families, but as Bagheera continues to tell her all about the tiger cub day after day, she welcomes the odd lil friendship between her son and the other cub.

When Khan does finally meet Mama 'Gheera he acts like a total gentleman (which gets a quick side-eye from Bagheera). As time goes on he becomes comfortable enough to have his usual banter with Bagheera in front of her, giving her a full view of their friendship. She is smart enough to see where this friendship could lead to, but she knows what animals like Shere Khans parents expects from the cub and how things would end. Despite all the arguments, fights and the eventual emotional goodbyes, she is glad Bagheera had a friend like Shere Khan in his life

Bagheera meeting Shere Khan's grandmother was an accident. After Hathi, Khan tried his hardest to keep the other cubs from ever seeing her mainly due to how chaotic they can be. On the rare occasion of Bagheera being brought to the Khan manor (making sure both of his parents were out) he forgot that his grandmother was visiting that day too. Much to the cub's horror, after grabbing some tea he found the two looking at baby photos of him while his grandmother told tales of his family. Bagheera of course promised not to tell anyone.

Grandma Khan enjoys Bagheera's company. One time she did managed to eavesdrop on their banter and was pleasantly surprised how comfortable Bagheera was with Khan to talk back at him. Children similar in status of the Khans would usually try to suck up to them, but not this cub. It made her approve of the friendship much more.

She would often ask Khan how his panther friend was doing whenever they meet up. Despite Shere Khan trying be nonchalant about the other cub, she can see how much he cares about him. Which saddened her when Khan refused to talk about Bagheera once he moved schools.

I headcannon that Bagheera never got to meet Shere Khan's parents during their childhood. Papa Khan drilled into Shere's head that relationships that don't help elevate you to your goals are useless and should be tossed aside. Fearing what his parents would think of his troublesome friends, he kept them far apart. Which is why he never really brought them to his home. But of course his father already knew of the gang. He was not impressed by the other cubs, but could see Bagheera working for the company and nothing more. He only allowed the friendship to continue is because, like Mama 'Gheera, he knew how it would end once Shere Khan reached high school.

Hello, so I keep thinking about you oc Junior, and if my calculations are not mistaken, he is almost the same age as Simba. Are they friends of Nemesis?

I think they would be friends, but not really close at first. I see Junior liking a more calm and quiet environment while Simba (as shown in the movie) is quite loud and proud. The reason they would create this friendship is due to proximity. Two rich cubs that are expected to take up high roles in society are bound to meet at the same parties and get togethers.

Once they're older I feel like that's when an actual friendship can be formed. They've matured and can now laugh about how awkward their friendship was.

Hello! So I have a question for you, so would Jr study finance like Shere Khan or would he have a passion for something else like literature or writing? I can see Jr and Bagheera write together and be inspired to be a writer (I saw in the previous ask that he likes to read I thought it was awesome!) Also, I love your artwork so keep up the good work I can totally see my Talespin Oc (Coco) get along with them and perhaps gift Jr some books for his passion for writing! ☺️

Jr will treasure this gift for the rest of his life. When he is much older, he'll have to put the book behind a glass case due to both age and it being so well read.

As to taking up writing, he would take it up as a hobby. If Jr attempts to write a book, he would have to go under a pen name. Rivals to the Khan name can be petty to say the least

Hello I like this au, could I know more about Jr? He seems cute.

I'm very glad (and still so surprised) that people enjoy Jr, so here you go

Bagheera instantly feel in love with Jr as soon as they met at the orphanage. Something just clicked

Jr's favorite treat is purin (Japanese custard pudding)

He's a pouter. He manages to control it when he's an adult in public, but falls back into the habit around animals he's comfortable with

Like Bagheera, Jr is an avid reader. They have their own little book club

He really looks up to Shere Khan and wants to be worthy of taking over the company

He followed his father around like a lost, little duckling for the first month. Bagheera has many sketches of those moments

Jr desperately wanted to be taller when he was cub. He read so many books on how to make it happen (sadly none helped)

Had a habit of sleeping on his front on the floor. Khan trained it out of him. Can't have your child be a trip hazard

Poor Jr has a bad case of bed hair due his ruff being more on the fluffier side than Khan's

Despite not being related by blood, Jr grew up looking just like Shere Khan. Has accidently gave some of the older workers a heart attack a few times

He keeps his little head ruffle to adulthood. Not because he wants to, but because it keeps popping up no matter what his fathers do to it. It drove Shere Khan crazy for a bit until he learned to live with it... for now
