đŹ starter for @raisedxbywolves | Theo & Fiona !
As Fiona walked through the bustling bar to find a place to sit, her mind was preoccupied with the usual chaos. Balancing texting on her phone with one hand and clutching her beer bottle in the other, she almost didn't notice Theo at first, but her gaze caught him from the corner of her eye and a smile involuntarily stretched across her lips.
âHey, it's you again. What are you, stalking me or something?â Fiona quipped playfully. Her fingers finally paused on her phone, whichever siblings she was texting was momentarily forgotten. âMind if I sit?â
It was hard to live in that part of Chicago and not eventually start recognizing the same faces, even if he couldn't put a name to them. He'd noticed her walking over, but he was hardly the only one. She had the attention of a good third of the guys at the bar, and maybe a couple of the girls too.
He raised an eyebrow, smile playful to match hers. "I was here first, doll. Maybe you're stalking me." There was half a beer on the bar in front of him, the label peeled at the edges, and he moved Aven's jacket from the back of the adjacent chair. Judging by the way his sister was leaning on a nearby table with some guy who'd just bought her a drink, she wasn't coming back for it any time soon. "Be my guest."
â you can kiss me, you know. â from Travis
Theo had been friends with Travis before the benefits--maybe the best friend he had outside of Aven, who was his twin sister and didn't really count. He knew he was playing with fire, mixing sex with feelings like this, but the possibility of getting burned was usually at least half the appeal for Theo. While he preferred to keep his romantic attachments simple, the sex was just better with people he actually liked and got to know than it was with random strangers. Or, at least, that was his theory. Aven just thought he was an idiot. She might not have been wrong.
There were takeout containers on the coffee table from dinner, the TV currently muted while they talked and drank beer. It was a fairly typical weeknight for them. For as much as Theo loved a crowd and didn't know any strangers, he appreciated this too, quiet, chill nights with someone whose company he enjoyed. His gaze might have fallen to Travis's lips when there was a lull in the conversation, but he hadn't realized he was being so obvious about it. "Oh, I can, huh?" He chuckled softly, leaning into his space to steal a soft kiss, lingering on his lips a moment. "And what if I wanna do more than kiss you?" he teased, nibbling softly at his bottom lip.
There was a reason that these two fit so very well, all his life Travis was one not to do relationship or seriousness. He longest relationship, if you could call it that last only a few months. He hated label and just liked having fun. Theo was his best friend and he enjoyed their moments and their time together and did not want to mess up that. If he was honest, he would say that the sex between them was amazing and it was so good. He enjoyed the other's touch, he enjoyed their lips on his and on their body and he enjoyed his on theirs. It was insane and funny that these two were on the save wavelength. Atlas often teased him and joked that Travis and Theo were something more but he always dismissed his brother's words.
He knew that this was a dangerous game and if they were not careful one or both of them would get hurt but it made it so much fun and exciting. Travis taking a risk he did not mind. It had been a busy day, Travis was not feeling like dealing with crowds and people, he often found a lot of people annoying and they got on his nerves and Theo was one person who was the opposite so a evening like this was nice and needed. He had been distracted by the other's lips and not paid attention to what was going on TV. He smiled and chuckled at the other's words after they stole a soft kiss. "What if I tell you that I want you to do more than a kiss to?" he asked moving in to kiss and make out with Theo with desire, passion and lust.
The thing about Theo was that he wasn't usually around to deal with the fallout of being himself. He was rarely in the city for more than a couple weeks at a time, his job frequently taking him overseas where he could blame no signal and shoddy internet on his inability to text back. By the time he returned to pass out on Aven's couch for fourteen hours, it was all ancient history, and he was free to move on. It wasn't like that with Travis. Not only had he not stopped sleeping with him even when work forced a break on them, he had no intention of stopping.
He climbed shamelessly into Travis's lap, a knee on either side of his waist, so he could stop pretending to care what was on TV and kiss him at his leisure. Travis was an excellent kisser. It was sort of unfair, actually, how quickly Theo could lose track of anything else going on when there were lips involved. "Yeah? What d'you want me to do to you?" He murmured between kisses, giving the top button on Travis's jeans a gentle tug to pop it free.

@grimmusings @raisedxbywolves gets everyone's favorite circus freak.
---
usually, when the circus was working within the bounds of a big city and not somewhere out in the open where she could pitch a tent, they had opted for Hotels. They also opted to crowd the rooms, which was... Fun.
But azalea Found a little hack.
And this was what she was doing just now, Not really paying a lot of attention to the others in the room with her as she set up her camping cot and fit it into an unused slid-ey door closet. She was about halfway through setting up a string of paper lantern lights around until she felt someone watching.
"Hi!" She smiles, waving and immediately turning back to electrical taping fairy lights to the inside of the closet. "Lets be real, this isn't the weirdest thing you've seen while working here."
Theo loved cities. Growing up a stone's throw from New York City would do that to a kid, all those bright lights in the distance but just out of reach. It was where he and his twin sister, Aven, had initially run when they left home. Falling in with the circus hadn't been in the plan--did people actually plan to run away and join the circus?--but he wasn't sorry about how it had ended up. He did the promotional photography, and she ran the publicity, and they made a decent team as always.
He had every intention of knocking on Azae's closet door, but he'd gotten distracted watching her hang up lights. It was a cute, homey touch that never in a million years would have occurred to him. He'd learned to make his home the entire world, and he got restless when they stayed in one place too long. "Not even close," he agreed with a smile. "You hungry? I'm going to head out for some food, maybe explore a little."
âYouâre talking mad shit for a guy within kissing distance.â
@pctentialbreakupsong
Theo had a tendency to bail whenever anyone started to catch feelings, which put an element of chaos in any relationship with him that lasted longer than a few nights. He wasn't clear on why Riley was willing to put up with that on again/off again shit they had going on, but that was her business. It made the rest of the pack crazy when they were on, but since that wasn't a lot different from when they were off, he didn't consider their opinions much of a factor.
He was leaning on the pool table at their favorite bar, cue in one hand, and he might have just tossed out a challenge to get her to play with him. That hadn't been the kind of playing he had in mind, but it wouldn't take a lot to persuade him either.
"We tried that, remember? It didn't work." He grinned when he said it though because something not working was absolutely no reason not to try it again in Theo's book, especially if that something was a hot, tiny blonde who could kick his ass without breaking a sweat. Okay, maybe some sweating, given the lycanthropy made him just as strong as she was, but still. He wasn't opposed. If insanity was doing something over and over again and expecting different results, then sign him up.
She didnât know why she decided to put up with the bullshit â his bullshit for so long. Maybe because it annoyed the rest of the pack insane, or maybe it was some deeper reasoning that she didnât want to dive into. Despite it all, he was her friend â no matter if they were kissing, fucking, or none of the above. She cared about him, even when he was being a shit talking asshole like he had been to even cause her to comment in the first place. His deep rooted fear of commitment and her deep rooted fear ofâŚwhatever it was, it worked. If she ignored the way her chest seemed to hurt when things ended â things were great. She would get numb to it eventually.
She leaned against the pool table, a beer bottle dangling between her fingers as she watched him for a moment. Her green eyes flicked over him for a moment, narrowing as she brought the bottle up to her lips to take a long drink from it. She wondered what made her go back to him so often. He was pretty on the eyes, there was no denying that. Maybe it was their stupid banter. A laugh fell past her lips, reaching up to flick some of her blonde hair from her face before she sauntered over to grab a pool stick to chalk up.
âMm, I feel like thatâs mostly your problem that didnât work out.â She arched an eyebrow at him, setting her bottle down and pulling out another pool cue and sauntering over to him and holding it out for him. âBut clearly thereâs something about me that makes you come back.â A smirk grew on her lips as she tipped her head to the side. âBut if you really donât want to kiss me, stop shit talking and start playing.â
Theo had no idea why anyone put up with his bullshit, except maybe Aven, who was pretty much biologically obligated to love him. Not even though, since he had half a dozen other siblings who wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire. They'd left the pack they'd been born into before they were even legal, and he'd never looked back. It had taken years before either of them could lower their hackles enough to join a new one, but he'd come to love them. It was home.
It was part of the draw to Riley, he knew. No matter where they were at on their wildly swinging moods with each other, she still felt like home to him. Did she deserve better? Absolutely. But as long as she was still slumming it with him, he wasn't going to complain. His gaze lingered on her lips on the bottle, and he didn't even try to pretend he wasn't staring. His commitment issues might be visible from space, but he was always honest about what it was with him. He thought it helped lower the number of hearts he left broken, but probably he was just using it to make himself feel better when he cut and ran.
His smile widened in triumph when she grabbed a cue, reaching for the second when she passed it over. "Sounds right. Mostly," he agreed as he straightened, turning to rack up the balls. Like⌠90% of it was him, at least. "Only one thing? That's not giving you nearly enough credit." He leaned back when the table was ready, lining up a shot to break.
send me â blanket burrito â for your muse to tightly wrap up my sick / exhausted muse in blankets to keep them in bed, resting, so they can recover (Theo @raisedxbywolves)
Theo wasn't massive in stature. Certainly not a slight man either. But when he was slouched against her, fever burning his skin, and half coherent apologies on his bourbon breath. . .Feyres 5'4" build made the trip from his couch to his bed a struggle. Luckily, after what felt like much longer than it probably had been-- they made it their in one piece to his bed. "That's enough." Feyre sighed, hoisting the brunette into his bed, laying the groaning man onto his back and stepping back with a satisfied sigh. "I'm not here to talk, Theo. You need to sleep." Blue eyes traced the lines of his worn expression, her own mirroring his as a second of pain clutched at her chest. She cleared her throat and dipped down to begin lifting his legs into bed, pulling the covers up to his chin. "You're burning up." She exhaled, moving her hand to his forehead, fingers brushing down his cheek and against the line as his jaw as her lips pressed into a hard line. "Damn it, Theo. How did you get this out of sorts?" She admonished softly, clicking her tongue before moving to tuck him into place. "I'm making soup." She murmured, her expression pinched. "Dont make me put you back. . .please."
@raisedxbywolves
Naturally, Theo's dipshit response to illness was to see if he could kill the germs with alcohol. It didn't work, obviously, but it did temporarily dull his awareness of the symptoms. And impair his short-term to long-term memory conversion, since he didn't remember what he'd texted Feyre that was dire or incomprehensible enough for her to come over even when she was mad at him-- or texting her at all, in fact. Selfish as he could be at times, a well, sober Theo wouldn't have asked her for anything. He was the one who had making up to do, and he was in no current state to do it.
"Are you really here?" He squinted through the haze of fever and bourbon when her face appeared over his on the couch. He was content to spend the rest of the night there, if not for the fact that it was goddamn freezing. Shivers wracked his body even under the blanket.
"I'm fine here." He wasn't sure if the words made it out or not as she struggled to get him vertical and his legs struggled to keep him that way. The room tilted precariously around him, and he groaned. That was one question answered at least. A Feyre hallucination wouldn't have been able to get him on his feet, much less all the way to his bed. He couldn't remember the last time someone had tucked him in. He might not remember it this time.
His eyes closed against her hand on his face. He wanted her to keep it there. He wanted to pull her into the bed and wrap himself around her and sleep for a hundred years. "You should go before you get sick," he muttered instead, tugging the blanket up to his chin. He'd just remembered why she was mad at him, and the sick, hot rush of shame felt worse than the illness.

@hattiexmae
To be fair, most of Theo's ideas weren't great ideas. When he was drinking, they were even less good. The problem with him was that he usually knew where the line was and decided to cross it anyway just to entertain himself. He really hadn't known the girl he was chatting up at the bar had a boyfriend, but he was aware of about how well his suggestion that all three of them leave together would land with her hulking brodude.
It wasn't his first bar fight and likely wouldn't be his last, but he was laughing as he was shoved out onto the sidewalk, stumbling slightly before righting himself. "Ah⌠I think that's an overstatement. There's no blood on my pants." He winced, pressing a hand to the cut just above his eyebrow. He hadn't seen his face yet to determine how bad it was, but it didn't hurt that much. Nothing bled like a head wound though.
