The movie had been about to the mid-way point when Hattie tipped over and rested her head against Steve's lap. His eyes flicked down briefly and a soft smile played on his lips. "Comfortable?" He asked, settling back into the couch a little so she'd have more room. This wasn't their first date but it was first time that they'd ever been cuddly like this.

"I mean...It's been a minute but I feel just fine." Johnny glanced into the reflection of the glass window to see if he could get a glimpse of himself. "Why do I look tired to you?" he asked, looking back over at the woman.

Ransom never went on blind dates. Hell, he rarely went on dates at all. He much rather just hook up with a chick for the night and be done with her the next morning. However, his best friend roped him into this because a friend of a friend was coming into town and she didn't know anyone. He supposes he could show her a good time (assuming she's hot. But her name was Hattie and Ransom pictures a middle-aged woman .... or a grandma).

When the door to the restaurant opens, a blonde woman walks in and over to the table. "You must be Hattie?" She's fifteen minutes late but he'll let it slide because she is actually pretty hot. "I'm Ransom." He doesn't stand up or pull her chair out for her or anything nice like that. When she sits, he slides a menu over to her. "Glad you found the place. I guess it's kind of off the beaten path." He smiles before picking up his beer to take a sip. "So Steve tells me you're in town for a few days but didn't say why."

Steve had been a little nervous about his gallery night but so far everything had been going pretty well. He had sold one piece for 2,000 dollars but hoped to sell more to make the night really worth while. Spotting a young woman looking at a painting on the wall, he decided to go up and introduce himself and see if she had any questions.

"Hi, I'm Steve," he said with a smile and when she turned to him he stuck out his hand. "I want to thank you for coming tonight to check out my art. And, uh, if you have any questions, I'm here for answers!"

After they shook hands, he pointed over to a table set up with some light hor d'oevours and drinks. "Can I get you a glass of wine or some sparkling water?"

“it’s not my fault your boxers are so comfortable. besides, it’s not like anyone’s going to know.” @hattiexmae

"I guess I wasn't expecting you to come out wearing them," he said as he looked her up and down. He did have to admit that she looked mighty sexy wearing a t-shirt and his boxers. "It's totally fine. You look great it them, Hattie."

Morning After (Oliver)

Oliver slowly blinked his eyes open as he woke up. He laid there for a few moments. He's startled for about half a second at another body in his bed, until he remembers the night before. Rolling onto his side, he stretches his arm over her waist, cuddling into her back. He presses a kiss to her bare shoulder, before the side of her neck. "Good morning," he whispers softly against the back of her ear.

Oliver smiled. It's that quite kind of smile almost like you have a secret you don't want to give up. "Everything seems different in the city, don't you think? I know it can be busier but here, at night like this. It's still, almost silent."
