Grey Gardens (Ellen Hovde, Albert Maysles, David Maysles & Muffie Meyer, 1975)
Does the sun ask itself, “Am I good? Am I worthwhile? Is there enough of me?” No, it burns and it shines. Does the sun ask itself, “What does the moon think of me? How does Mars feel about me today?” No it burns, it shines. Does the sun ask itself, “Am I as big as other suns in other galaxies?” No, it burns, it shines.
Andrea Dworkin, Our blood: prophecies and discourses on sexual politics (1976)
There’s that one person you meet. They may not be special to everyone, but to you, they’re so eccentric, unique. They ignite flames in you every time they speak and every touch jolts you to reality. You anticipate the days and nights because that’s another day you get to see and talk to them. You would never admit, but they’re the one that you love so, so much with a capability that you never thought you could feel. But you also fear that they may never love you back with the fire that you feel.

I chose this lovely colour palette for an ongoing project but they decided on another one :( At least now I can use it for lazy Sunday drawings like this one.

Tea House of the Tokyo Moon - Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
It’s night time in TOKYO, at Fort Lauderdale’s Fabulous Tea House of the Tokyo Moon. Overlooking beautiful Sun Moon Bay. A fantasy land by day, a fairy-land by night. Hong Kong Docks, 423 Sea Breeze Avenue
so satisfied, I said a lot of things tonight.
