My family has lived with dementia for a long while now. When TimeSlips got in touch last year, I was really interested in their approach to care through creativity. This was one of my favourite projects of 2018 and I'm glad I could add my bit of work to their website. I am in awe with what they do.

This past week has been the first time I've drawn, just because I wanted to, in a long while. I had the busiest summer (made a book! took four projects in stride in a single week! made money!). Then I went on holidays, suddenly my mum was in hospital and we were panicking and then she moved in with us for a month and a half. She recently went back home and, while I do miss her dearly, it feels like normal life has begun again after the longest five months.
