"Geez, nothing to do today..."

Rise is standing outside of Marukyu alone, she looks bored, talk to her?

This wasn't her first live performance.

Sure, it had been awhile since she took center stage with so many people watching her every move. Her heart was beating fast, chest was feeling heavy, and she felt like she was going to faint.

"It's just nerves, Rise. You can do this." her manger; Inoue assured her as he noticed the young woman's nervous look. "Ah, r-right. Just nerves." Rise repeated as she allowed the back stage stylists to tug & adjust her costume before she would head out to do her performance.

"Get ready, Risette. You'll be going on in just a few moments." the stage manager informed her. Rise only nodded, how would she do if none of her friend were out there? She couldn't think of that way, of course they'd be there. She was just stressing herself out.

Rise took a deep breath and stepped on stage, "Thank you everyone for coming out to support me! I hope everyone has a great time tonight, lets go!" she called out sounding up beat and cheerful, partly looking through the crowd just to find a familiar looking face. Yet she was disappointed when she was unable to find one, but the show must go on. As her music started Rise began her performance, singing with all her heart and doing the choreography she'd been practicing ever since she came back into show business.

It was going well and the crowd was loving her... In till, she messed up and tripped, her nerves were getting the better of her. People were whispering, questioning what was wrong with her. She didn't feel cut out for it, she just needed someone, anyone to encourage her and give her strength. Someone like Yu-senpai, or all her friends back in Inaba but they weren't here now.

Rise Headcanon: 2

"Playing dress up."

Rise loves to dress up, from fancy attire to cosplay. Rise loves it all; perhaps something she obtained from being in idol? But of course she feels kinda lonely dressing up all by herself, so... If she can get her hands on a friend or two, she will happily dress them up in different outfits, do their makeup, hair and so on. Though some aren't very willing, Rise has her ways of getting them to do what she wants, even if it takes a little force on her part.

"Lunch box for Senpai~"

Rise always makes a lunch box for Yu, even though the possibilities of him actually eating it are every slim. Seeing as Yu either makes a lunch himself, has made plans to eat with someone else, or makes so kind of excuse as of why he can not eat her cooking. But even so Rise still prepares a lunch filled with lots of love (and spice) for him each night just in case he actually wants to eat it.

“Cooking is wonderful isn’t it?” Jay sighed happily at the thought, definitely being the one of the group most in touch with his feminine side. Kyle let out a soft chuckle and ruffled his dongsaeng’s, Jay’s, hair.

“If he had the confidence, he’d ask to cook with you” Kyle chuckled once more, causing nervous Jay to blush a little and cup his hands in his face out of embarrassment.

“This is really good!” Joe exclaimed with a mouthful, practically shovelling the food into his mouth hungrily.

“Hm? Cook together?” Rise said when she heard Kyle’s words. “Well, if you really want to, we can cook together, Jay.” she added with a playful wink after she thought it over for a moment, she’d always enjoyed the company of others while cooking so why not.

“Really? I’m glad you like it~” she sang smiling happily, but honestly she was surprised, normally people were hesitant to even touch her food and when they did eat it they would be choking from all the spice by now.

Jay glared at his hyung, but since he was so flustered, he couldn’t find his words and just stood there looking bright red. “Oh, trust me, Jay-shi would love to cook with you” Kyle grinned as he nudged his friend, making him go even redder. “Hyung!” Jay finally found his words and pouted at his older friend.

“Mhmm!” His words were muffled as he shovelled the food continuously into his mouth, none stop. Over years and years of none stop eating, Joe was practically immune to choking on spices or any kind of hot food, the spices didn’t irritate his throat all that much any more.

Rise giggled at the two males iterations with one another, she found it very entertaining. “Well, if you don’t want to cook together, we don’t have to Jay. But I would I have enjoyed it!” she commented still smiling.

“Since you like my cooking so much, you can come by any time, we always have extra food and it just goes to waste most of the time.” Rise told Joe as she watched him pile in her home cooked meal so quickly. Though part of her was curious as of where he put it all, and ended up thinking he was just some kind of bottomless pit.

Kyle was always looking for an excuse to make Jay socialise with people, if Kyle hadn’t said anything, Jay would be in the background, twiddling his thumbs quietly. “Er…” Jay stammered “I would like to cook with you… Sometime…” He managed to say after a few moment silence.

“Sure, I’ll take you up on that opportunity” Joe grinned, finishing the last mouthful of food, then handing her lunch box back to her.

“I’m surprised you’re not fat with the amount you eat” Jay muttered under his breath and smirked at his dongsaeng.

Rise smiled brightly, “I look forward to it then, Jay. Just don’t be shy when asking to cook, kay? I don’t bite and I’m not some kind of monster after all so you don’t need to worry about that.” she assured him.

“I’ll be sure to make you something special, Joe.” she told him taking her lunch box holding it close to her chest. “And remember don’t be a stranger, come by any time!” Rise added.

Jay looked down to the ground, feeling very embarrassed and flustered, not even looking up to respond. “Oh, no, he’s like that with everyone, I try and get him to socialise though” Kyle chuckled, ruffling his dongsaeng’s hair once again.

“Oh, thanks!” Joe beamed brightly and ran a hand through his dark hair. “I’ll be sure to enjoy it” he grinned a little and nodded.

"Oooh? And here I thought it was me. Well, that's one last thing to worry about. But social or not, I'll get you to warm up to me, Jay. No one can resist the charm of Rise Kujikawa." she stated proudly putting her hands on her hips.

Rise smiled to Joe, "You better, I'll be working extra hard to make it yummy~"

Digging through her school bag Rise pulled a cutely made lunch box and presented it to one of the new boys she met. Though it looked harmless the food she made was filled with lots of spice, like always.

“Looks good right~? Well, eat it all up, okay?”

Jay raised an eyebrow and smiled at her, “you… You cook? So do I!” He exclaimed happily with a wide, cheesy grin across his face. “What’s your favorite thing to cook? Mines tteobokki! It’s so good!” Jay beamed widely.

Joe accepted the food she’d handed him and gave her a bow out of gratitude. “Thanks! Oh and ignore anything that comes out of Kyle hyung’s moth” He grinned widely, seeing that Kyle was glaring at him. Joe was used to eating strange, weird and hot things, he spent the majority of his life eating, heck he’d even eaten steamed silkworms before, they were surprisingly nice. “

“Oh oh, I really like making goya chanpuru, I had it when I was in Okinawa. It was so delicious, sadly I don’t get to make it much but I also like making other dishes too. Especially things that include tofu, since we have a lot of it at home.” Rise went on to explain with a smile upon her face.

She then turned her attention to Joe who was trying her food, “Hey hey, how is it? It’s great right?” she questioned expecting a nice compliment on her cooking or something along the lines.
