This is the hallway on the 3rd floor of Seminar House 4, where I stayed for the semester in Kansai Gaidai University. It was always a challenge to get out of bed and into the toilet because this corridor was perpetually cold. Will always remember the way the sunlight shone onto the walls and across the floor, especially during sunset.

I usually parked my bike at this spot in the bicycle shed. The picture below is of the road leading out of Kansai Gaidai University. Always enjoyed the view of the sky there :)

Hirakata City The path I always took riding the bike back to my seminar house from school. Always appreciated the magnificent view of the mountains in the background.

A friend introduced me to a smartphone app which slaps a filter and date onto my photos such that they turn out looking old, grimy, reminiscent, grunge, etc., you name it. It’s sad that I only started using this app in my last 20 days in Japan (I’ve been here for 4 months) but since I’m still visually documenting a lot of stuff going on down here, I figured I’ll collate them all in one good online space where I can look back on some memories and possibly upload more in the future. I hope these photos will do the beauty of Japan some justice because Japan is really so gorgeous. I love this country.
