Bea's 100% a tiger. I feel it in my soul. I think how modern media portrays tiger-based characters (cough cough tigress from kung fu panda, carmen sandiego, etc) plays a big role in why I feel so strongly towards Bea being a tiger type of gal. Tigers are fierce, hard-working, confident, bold, intense, solitary + it fits Bea so well. She's so determined and intense in the way she trains and treats herself without care of her longterm well being (ie., her twilight wings episode where she was boxing the shit out of her machamp), yet even though she holds herself as stoic and serious, she's definately really emotional (PASSIONATE) when it comes to being a gym leader and pokemon battles as a whole (note twilight wings again when she lost her damn mind after taking that L from Leon; or look at any frame from the later half of her 3rd last rival battle with Ash).
Also her telling Ash that Korrina (his longtime close friend which deadass took him a minute to bea) is "too soft" in their first battle, before proceeding to slam his shit, is soooo fucking bold LMAO. Love her sm but wtf ðŸ˜Â 💕

Korrina on the other hand, was a bit more difficult. I dunno my dog breeds like that, but she gives off like those hyperactive crusty little dogs that just goes around and gets all up into people's faces. That one scene where she goes barreling into Bea and smushes her face into hers is the most dog thing ever. She was practically wagging her nonexistent tail when she saw her ðŸ˜Â + The amount of gifs I can find of her bouncing around for literally no fucking reason really solidified the idea.

On a serious note though, Korrina is definately a dog person at heart. When we first see her, Ash tells Korrina that "oh yea I'm going to go fight the shalour city gym leader." Instead of correcting him, she proceeds to whoop his ass, then reveal that she's the gym leader while giggling her butt off. She's immediately such an incredibly social, chaotic, and playful person. Yet, we see how determined and hard-working she is when it comes to trying to become the best version of herself as the Shalour city gym leader, AND the mega evolution successor. She's deeply loyal to her grandfather, lucario, and her friends, and doesn't hesitate to get aggressive when defending them. Overall, I declare Korrina the biggest dog person on earth.
(Honorable mention, I did put Korrina as a jackal for a hot minute, because I wanted to be niche, and jackals look so goofy. I would've definately picked her to be a jackal if Korrina wasn't so undeniablely a musty dusty dog girl.)
Conclusion - They're both really odd, and if they became canon, the entire world would explode (me).
For the side note: YES!!!! FUCKKKKK YES!!!! I would go to hell and back for bunny Korrina and kitty Bea. Thats so cute ugh I'm going to die. Bunny korrina being hyperactive and bouncing all over the place, while kitty Bea's reserved asf and cute. This is next in line behind my tiger girl Bea and dog girl Korrina agenda :p
