It’s a sight to behold when these two find the time to spare for one another, spend a couple hours or even minutes worth in the company of one another. After past events it’s to go unsaid that time to laze around or to find one’s self at ease is pretty limited. There’s much to fix, much to rearrange, and much to recover. Daunting to many, after a catastrophic event one may not know where to start; where to begin. Though it’s this kind of environment where Cloud thrives under. He’s always on the move, never in one spot for too long, he’s busy as he can be. Even with so he does acknowledge he needs to hand himself a break or two every so often. “Hey.” He greets his friend.
“Can’t complain.” He gestures. He’s seen darker days so he really can’t complain. “Good to see you.” He nods at Vincent from where he sits. It’s always nice to see a familiar face. “How are you holding?”
“So far I’ve been tranquil.”
Cloud’s presence was much appreciated, and Vincent didn’t make a secret of that this time. “By the way...” He trailed off to Cloud, “...thank you for your help. Back in the Deepground base.” The battle against Weiss the Immaculate and his forces could not have been easy for either of them, and the gunman in red felt grateful for Cloud’s assistance no matter how small.
“You saved the world again. That’s good, isn’t it?”
