i do not have "drawing sessions" i receive a divine message at 3am and run myself ragged for 3 hours straight over pixels and an idea only to burn myself out and have to go on cooldown for the next several hours. or fifteen minutes depending on the day.

old wips sadly, i recently survived an attempted assassination from a planter hanging so low to the ground that it somehow hit me square in the side of my head so i'm taking it easy for the next few days. so here's two older wips of my dnd characters i made lol. i should be okay i just got smacked really hard 😭

bro im in my loki phase AGAIN i need to draw him i dont think i ever actually did. a few tim burton characters too. anyways, here is yet another oc because i felt generous and posted TWO posts in the same hour whattt 😱😱😱 i am making up for past time i guess. His name is Osmer Shirburn, he is from the same universe as Mathurin le Dufont and Étienne Mordrad. I don't have many sketches of him so here's an art dump of my WIPs I did a few weeks back.

i finally figured out the difference between text posts and image posts. the text posts are for text, and the image posts are for... images. but, don't you think Étienne on the right looks kind of like Alan Rickman? I didn't have him in mind, but I swear i might be hallucinating but he looks very much like a young Alan Rickman. Anyways, here's some food. i wanted to try my hand at creating a feeling for their design instead of trying to match a certain aesthetic or period accurately, as i felt it was stifiling what i really wanted to make, which was to have you feel something about them without me having to explain every facet of their detailing :) i am still getting used to CSP ($26/yr, I would be crazy to deny such a deal!), as I moved from Krita due to some big performance issues, and it's working well for me so far! i love all of the brushes, i love how they feel, i've already downloaded some off the front page, and this piece was made entirely with the pencil section of the brush. I must admit, i feel a little bit like a medieval peasant who suddenly acquired alien technology, haha. if you have any thoughts on my work, please let me know! i'm always looking for improvement, and if you want to ask about my characters I am always ALWAYS down to yap about the little creatures bouncing around the inside of my skull. blah blah blah, here's two men.

not sure if this will reach anyone, but i was thinking about joining artfight for the first time this year and have felt kind of discouraged from doing so because of the whole drama that's happened with the new rules and the community outrage. Being someone who never participated before and has only heard of it through friends who do participate, i think i feel a sort of disconnection from the way the community is kind of tearing itself apart over this, and while I agree with some of the notions, the whole situation feels very messy in my eyes. I'm unsure if I want to touch artfight this year unless something happens with the creators or whatever that addresses the problems the community has. anyways, happy pride month! here's an art for the gays, gals, and anything else that cleverly starts with the letter g.
