Elden ring/Fromsoft game Tumblr is hilarious because you guys talk the same way that the majority of tumblr talks about hot anime twinks but the blorbo in question is Morgott the Fell Omen
Idk if anyone has made note of this before but Mohgs horns are unique from the other Omen, even Morgott and how that was genius (if intentional)

The horns we see on the Omen are usually a mixing bowl of ones from goats, antelope, bovines and sheep. Most of them are narrow and upright, and occasionally have a corkscrew shape or curl
Morgotts horns seems to have drawn from markor and addax, perhaps the markor even inspired his long silvery hair and fur. The fact that the term ‘old goat’ can be used to refer to a crotchety and rude old man is probably just a coincidence but it’s still funny to me.
But Mohg is unique since almost all of his horns all curl very tightly to his head and even interlock with one another. This is more characteristic of sheep horns
But the specific breeds he seems to draw the most from are the four horned ones, such as Jacobs Sheep and especially Hebridean sheep who have glossy black horns and a certain demonic aura. I think this was a deliberate choice meant to foreshadow his role in the DLC.
I think this is quite interesting from a symbolism perspective. Sheep are a symbol of innocence and purity, while it’s hard to tell how innocent Mohg was before falling under Miquellas spell, we can say that the Lord of Blood was indeed innocent of the allegations made of him. He is also innocent to what Miquella plans for him.
But I think the two biggest parts of Mohgs sheep symbolism is that of the black sheep and the sacrificial lamb.
Mohg is the literal and figurative black sheep of the demigods as he is not only an Omen but one that outright refused to accept being seen as lesser and began to worship an outer god other than the Greater Will. Once under Miquellas control he begins to behave in an unhinged way that further alienates himself. He is forced in to the role of ‘creepy uncle your parents don’t leave you alone with’ by Miquella because no one will see him as worth slapping sense in to, instead he is more likely to be killed.
He is also a sacrificial lamb, meant to be slaughtered in the name of Miquellas new empire, though as I mentioned he is kept blissfully ignorant to this. As were the players who assumed he was only a strange, overly evil filler boss counterpart to Morgott.
I think it all goes to show how deliberate everything about Mohgs design was. From a visual perspective he looks like something the Doom Slayer would be fighting, he is a kidnapper, a mass murderer and implied to be ‘interested’ in a person who has the body of a child. Hes even voiced in a way that makes him sound like Satan himself (Con O’Neill did a great job). It is so clear that he was meant to be read as pure evil, to a point where the sheer on-the-nose-ness of it is kinda hilarious in contrast to the seemingly more complex characters that make up the rest of the game. But even in base game they insert all of these little weird nods that maybe we don’t have the full story and other details that seem inconsequential until you do start the DLC.
The realization that Mohg, Mr.Satan-Mc-satanface, was actually a victim to the will of a seemingly benevolent demigod made for such a cool twisty

Also the horn growing in to the eye is a real thing that can happen if you neglect to cut back a horn growing in a dangerous angle. Missing eyes are a constant theme in the game and his was brought about by, more likely than not, the apathy of people towards those in the shunning grounds.
I really love those headcanons of "Elden Ring and Soulsborne characters react to you coming out" babe they wouldn't give a fuck they give a lil monologue or grunt before rocking your shit until you dissolve into the air
