So remember that saxophone quartet tango I wrote?

Well one of the local quartets played it at a function recently and Ben managed to get a sneaky recording on his phone. They fucked parts of it up and took it WAY too slow, but it was so cool to hear it played with actual instruments!! :D

It may not have won the competition but at least it got played once. I'm happy with that.

I ran into this girl today who I haven't seen since we finished year 12 four years ago. I asked her what she'd been doing and she was SO quick to jump to say "Oh I travel a LOT.. I'm not in the country very often." So I asked her where she travels to and she avoided the question.

Apparently she's a full time student too, so like.. she has to be in the country for at least half the year. And the way she avoided naming any countries she'd been to sort of makes me think she's super exaggerating?

I dunno I just really hate it when people are all like OH I TRAVEL SO MUCH I'M SO MUCH BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE.

Last night I went to my friend's place with another friend and we drank and I was so happy because I've been so unbelievably lonely for months and I think I've finally started making some new friends. I also got home afterwards and ate a whole bag of spinach and a raw chilli so that was weird.
