If my memory serves me right, in the documentary "In No Great Hurry", about the life and work of Saul Leiter, we learn that he was a great admirer of the work of Pierre Bonnard. If so, I hope to think that when he came across this moment, his heart skipped a beat, his mind jumped to this painting, and his brain ordered to lift and shoot his camera before she finished writing that letter...
