I am a father of a baby. A few days ago, we were caught in a downpour, and water flooded our

flimsy tent. I have an amputated leg and am

unable to work; I suffer pain every day. What hurts me most is seeing my little boy shivering and crying from the cold and hunger. We urgently need a tent to protect us from the rain, and diapers and milk for my baby. My campaign is documented as number 23, and any small support could help us protect our child and live with dignity.

I never imagined I'd reach a point where I'd be standing in line at a charity just to get a little food for my wife and baby. I'm disabled and unable to work, yet I try every day to bring home something small so my family doesn't go to bed hungry. The hardest feeling in life is seeing your child cry because they need milk and you can't provide it. My baby urgently needs milk and diapers ($70). My campaign is documented, and any support, however small, could ease our suffering.

i like the sentiment and i think its true in many ways, but people with mobility issues will still have mobility issues in an accommodating world, people with sensory disabilities will still have those disabilities in an accommodating world. and thats not including neurodiversity where two people with the exact same disorder will have very different experiences with them. like there's not a world where someone with agoraphobia wont be scared to leave the house just cause outside is more accessible

i dont think it accounts for the wide range of disability experience and caters more to low-support needs people. i think life would be so much easier if being disabled was less stigmatized, but disability wont just go away once it is
