This might be the greatest thing I have ever seen in my life
Sometimes the stupidity of the internet metastasizes into brilliance.
Everybody knows this
@kitsunetsuki I don't know if you're reading this, probably not, I just want you to know what a cold shower it is to find out you deactivated. I'm really sad. We weren't mutuals, we weren't friends, I loved loved loved your blog, I literally binge-reblogged from you. When you reblogged your own posts I clicked on the timestamps to get to the og post and add tags, and I used to scroll down your archives and restrain myself from reblogging old posts because maybe you wanted to reblog them yourself and had them queued and didn't want to get in the way. Now I wish I'd been less respectful and slammed that reblog button, I would have saved more treasures. It's a loss, it really is.
Absolutely. The arbitrary way this platform hides some posts and bans amazing blogs like @kitsunetsuki-deactivated2026051 frustrates the hell out of me, especially when there’s still such a huge problem here with garbage spambot porn blogs. It just goes to show how automated and soon to be (if not already) AI-based content moderation can’t tell the difference between art and shitty porn. Not only is it a goddamn shame it’s literally the inhuman policing of art and culture itself. I can’t believe we’re destroying our planet to do this.
I mean… this is pretty facile sophistry. How else are we to “directly” experience the world if not through our senses? What even is the “true version” of someone? Shit… most of us don’t even know the “true version” of ourselves. And of course the only thing we’ve ever seen is light waves processed by our brains. That’s literally what seeing is.
This has got to be some AI slopbot’s idea of philosophy. I can’t believe we’re destroying the planet for shit like this.
A better way to put it is your parents are the ones who wired your buttons in the first place.
I’m happy someone is asking the important questions
Except for Mein Kampf. Fuck that book.
If you know who Emmett Till is please reblog.
I’m trying to prove a point to my dad.
I’m very curious what the point is.

Trump used the justification that Maduro was a “narco trafficker” yet a month earlier pardoned the former Honduran president Juan Orlando Hernández who was in US prison after being convicted of drug trafficking and accepting bribes from Mexican cartels. There’s speculation that the pardon was secured because Hernández’s family contributed millions of dollars to Trump’s “inauguration fund”. The lesson here, apparently, is that Maduro didn’t give Trump his cut.
Generally my reaction too
find your god and ask for forgiveness
The only god that matters is the one inside me. The only forgiveness that matters is that which I extend to myself.

life really is just like. you meet people you love them and then you lose them and you never see them again. and it's inevitable and it happens to everyone and there's nothing you can do about it
richard siken quote. you know the one
All relationships end. Nothing lasts forever.
there is a level of seduction that exists beyond the body. something less tangible, and perhaps more potent. anais nin understood this idea about how desire does not begin with touch but with language, perception, and the sharp electric pull of a mind that challenges and excites you. in her journals, desire is not just a physical hunger but a hunger of the intellect, an unraveling of thought before an unraveling of the body. to be drawn into someone’s mind, to feel their thoughts press against your own, can be more intoxicating than any physical closeness.
—Caitlyn Richardson, 'can intellectual intimacy replace physical desire?', in milk fed
I love everything about this passage except for the word “replace” in its title. Why frame this as an either/or choice? Why not a blending? An enrichment of one with the other? Why not both?
Sorry to break it to you but you literally have to face your fears and slaughter them. Otherwise you will live a small life that you do not want. You literally have to view your biggest fears and attack them head on. You have to fall into the abyss to find your way out. The easy path does not exist. There is no get out of jail free card. You have to allow yourself to die a spiritual death over and over again in order to reinvent yourself into the person you are actually supposed to be. And you have to be painfully honest with yourself and the people around you. It’s horrible but it’s truly the only way.
Hard disagree.
Our fears are a part of us, and why should we want to hate or slaughter a part of ourselves? We should make friends with our fears. Invite them in and get comfortable with them. They’ll end up becoming way less scary.
I was trying to find out if Kermit was eligible to be pope and I found a blog that says he's the perfect example of a catholic priest
