what are ppl saying about liam?

i don’t wanna be messy, so i won’t reference any specific posts but the general sentiment on here that it’s so fun and awesome when noel behaves badly but there’s continuous disertations about liam’s bad behaviour and how it affects noel, everyone has a million and one ways to explain noel’s faults (he’s gay/bi, he has gender issues, he has trauma [which ofc]) but there’s zero consideration for liam’s psyche and history in these conversations. a million and one posts about liam being a silly stupid dog humping noel’s leg while noel ignores him bc everyone just loves the way he debases himself for noel bc they love him hurt and pathetic since it feeds noel’s ego and in turn, their ego bc they only truly care about him lol

#I think this double standard would annoy me less if I hadn't also sat through years of Noel being an asshole to Liam #then turning around and crying to the press about how Liam is mean #It's like his own behaviour is in invisible to him and whether that's because he's genuinely convinced himself that it doesn't count or it'#a deliberate attempt to sell that narrative I personally just find it so obnoxious.
